Nothing rly special there lah lived there before, just old buildings with unique design and memories. It was the tallest in the area when built in the 70s, so somehow people like to go there to jump. Nice to see ya all featuring the place. The NTUC FairPrice in the middle still open to this day!
I was staying there from 2016-2018! Most of the units were vacant except for those of us who are waiting for BTO, so we rented there. I actually witnessed a suicide during 1 chinese new year, heard a loud bang and then saw a crowd of people staring at one person who was lying on the floor. Blood slowly trailed out from his side, and the police and ambulance came shortly after.

I don't have third eyes. I discovered I have this special ability to see and hear ghosts after I started working the night shift. Wherever I go if the people tell me there is ghosts in the office I will definitely see them. Not only I can see them I can hear them be it there are having a ghost party and there are a lots of dancing,laughing,chanting I can hear them very clearly. I went to a people play up at pandan with my family and I briefly saw a dark image of a little girl. During that moment, I felt that she was happy but envious looking at those kids playing.
Used to stay there when i was younger while waiting for my family's new flat. What i can say is this place really is scary. If u guys had the chance to even go into the apartment you can see that the flat is really small . Where the toilet is located beside, it has a grille blocking. There is a big gap in between the units where u could see the unit beside u. Not sure if this is confusing but its really scary. (Heard some attempted to jump from there too) Every few nights we could just hear random screams (not only me but our neighbours did too) but couldn't figure out why. There's just so many unexplainable things that happened there that i would never step back into that block ever again.

Hmmm..... I don't understand why the HDB or JTC doesn't want to tear down this old block and rebuild the area. LOL, probably they want to keep it as a National Heritage Building for being the tallest residential block in the early years of the formation of the Jurong Industrial Estate. All its old surrounding blocks had already been rebuilt. I remembered there was the Jurong Polyclinic as well as a POSBANK at the low 5-storey block opposite it, situated parallel to Corporation Road. Taman Jurong long ago used to be a financial hub serving those companies in the Jurong Industrial Estate whereby those major banks (DBS, CHASE MANHATTAN, BANK OF AMERICA, OCBC, UOB, HSBC, CITIBANK, STANDARD CHARTERED BANK, MAYBANK, etc) are all located in the vicinity. There is even a Government Polyclinic as well as a private JURONG HOSPITAL, mainly catering to the employees of those companies and factories located in the Jurong Industrial Estate. It even had an army camp there as well as 2 wet markets. The very famous crayfish noodle stall was also located at the wet market along Corporation Drive. During the early 1970s when public buses there were almost non-existent, there were many Pirate Taxis operating for those who want to commute between Taman Jurong and Boon Lay and the unlit (no street lamps) Corporation Road was the only road connecting these 2 places .
Yep I do feel they might want to keep at as a heritage site, but will be difficult since its mostly 3 room flats so not sure how they going to repurpose it

There was a nutc, Chinese medicine store, 志强书局 (2nd floor) and a badminton court. I used to go there to do grocery shopping with my parents, and my favourite was playing badminton there when I was around 11/12 yo. There was once i noticed blood spots on the floor while I was picking up the shuttlecock and I was scared and suspected that someone might have jumped from the block, and I decided not to continue playing…

This guy committed suicide and land on the sharp fence right in front of the rescue team before they convinced him.
Nearby my block I use to walk over like a 5 minutes way to a coffee shop used to buy food back home then I also hear a loud sound and suddenly everyone take out their phone. Some people just shock because on the floor is a lady body she jump down killed herself. I told myself not to see and I brought my food on my way walking back police came the body was covered. 6 occupancy out of a 450 units block. Don't mind and not scared, i will be happy because no noisy neighbors. I only went to one of the blocks before to delivery stuffs, that's the only time i been there.

I got a story basically my friend is i m not going to say the name but she used to stay at this particular block is Jurong West st something so they used to stay there they were having there normal day as usual but something strange happen on a particular day so basically her mom came home from work and shower and every thing when she when in the living room all of the sudden she got possessed and my friend and her siblings where scared to they did not know what to do so there hide and cry it happened for a few days than the mom had enough and decided to move so she did prayers and all and then move and it was ok after they moved
I had seen a dead man with his arm amputated when hit the railing and it happened in the 70s. Anyway, this place is not so horrific as what everyone thinks.

I stay beside this block in taman Jurong. Sometimes at night I will walk to Super Bowl Taman Jurong and have to walk pass this block.. It is nothing scary to be honest. Many bangla like to chill and relax there. Although there are some stories from The past about this block, currently situation is not so scary because there are many shops there running which brings in some crowd.

The design of this HDB blk is a bit like ones in the Hong Kong movie “Rigor Mortis 僵尸” . The design of the surrounding ，有一种逼迫感。
Coffin is when u look down from the top, the middle structure (ntuc) is the coffin shaped structure. And many plunged and landed there.

The Ntuc is still there and is still quite popular with the residents who stay nearby the block.

I got a story basically my friend is i m not going to say the name but she used to stay at this particular block is Jurong West st something so they used to stay there they were having there normal day as usual but something strange happen on a particular day so basically her mom came home from work and shower and every thing when she when in the living room all of the sudden she got possessed and my friend and her siblings where scared to they did not know what to do so there hide and cry it happened for a few days than the mom had enough and decided to move so she did prayers and all and then move and it was ok after they moved
