- Many shopping centers have been opened in Istanbul in the last 20 years. The best shopping malls in Istanbul are mostly located in Besiktas, Sisli, Levent, Maslak on the European Side and Kadikoy and Maltepe on the Asian Side.
Istanbul, which is one of the largest shopping cities in Europe, has shopping malls in many categories. Some of the malls are full of luxury brands and flashy, while others are rich in activity and therefore it can be fun to visit with children.
Istanbul is one of the most attractive cities in the world for shopping. This ancient megalopolis, located on two continents, is famous not only for its rich history and sights but also for its modern shopping centers, stores, stalls, ancient bazaars, and entire neighborhoods, where you can buy absolutely everything. Trade here is part of the national tradition and mentality, and the large selection of quality Turkish goods always attracts many customers.

Mall of Istanbul The huge shopping center is located in the Başakşehir district, next to the Kocatepe metro station of the M1B line. It houses more than 350 stores of European and Turkish brands. There is a food court, cafes, restaurants, cinemas, a bowling alley, free Wi-Fi, and everything else that other similar establishments have. But its main attraction is the huge entertainment complex for children.
Mall of İstanbul hosts the world’s and Turkey’s leading brands with its leasable area of approximately 156 thousand square meters and a total of 350 stores. At MOİ where Migros, Koçtaş, Media Markt, Teknosa, Zara, Mudo, YKM are the leading stores, Toyzz Shop opened its biggest store and Victoria Secret has its full concept store in Turkey. Debenhams opened its second store with a new concept in Turkey at MOİ and furthermore, MOİ also hosts one of the biggest stores of LCW opened in malls in Turkey. Decathlon of France and Miss Selfridge of Britain are only some of the global brands that opened their locations for the first time in the malls owned by Torunlar REIC.
Mall of Istanbul is the winner of prestigious ‘’Europe’s Best Shopping Center’’ award and it really deserves the praise for many reasons. Mall of Istanbul incorporates offices, a residence and a hotel and it’s located at one of Istanbul’s most popular spots.
The mall was opened in 2004 and it has a motto that goes as, ‘’Turkey’s biggest shopping, entertainment and lifestyle center’’. The mall houses 350 shops.
Mall of Istanbul was inspired by Seven Hills of Istanbul. Therefore, the traces of famous landmarks like Sultanahmet, Taksim and Yildiz Park can be seen in its design.
There is something for everyone at Mall of Istanbul. If you are a food lover, you can enjoy great international food at Gusto MOI or if you are interested in art and performance arts, there are frequent theatre performances and concerts at MOI Sahne.
Moreover, at MOI Art, you can visit international galleries and if you want to spend a fun day, MOI Park is the best place for you, as it offers Europe’s biggest indoor entertainment park. And of course, you can watch the latest movies at Cinetech movie complex.

*Must be very hard to survive in a business here. The mall is almost empty and every fake brand name clothing and shoes are available dirt cheap in the streets with the same brand name stickers. Not many people would spend here.*
