This Opel Corsa E has a 1.2 (1229 cc (75 cu in)) 4 Cylinder Petrol Engine with 70 (51 kW;69 hp) at 5600 rpm and 115Nm (85 lbf⋅ft) at 4000.
It is equipped with a 5-speed Manual driving the Front wheels.
The Opel Corsa E is also sold branded Vauxhall Corsa E

I used to drive 1.2 100km turbo version and honestly it is perfect for this car
Only drawback are seats that seems to be made from concrede.
To be honest, i'm almost certain this is a trimmed version (by computer, not components) of the 1.2 86hp in the Corsa D (predessecor) and it's 4 cilinder, wich helps a lot, more then people think. But i think i still prefer my Corsa D 86hp, it's calmer when revving up.

ich habe das selbe auto. es ist das beste auto welches ich jemals hatte. Der Vierzylinder ist laufruhig und sehr komfortabel. Der neue Corsa F, also das Nachfolgemodell mit den Dreizylindern ist eine Katastrophe. Nehmt lieber den Corsa E!
nicht ohne grund sieht man den Corsa E häufig im straßenverkehr, bin auch kein fan vom neuen weder vom motor noch vom design.

Corsa F uses Peugeot Engine, and imo they are a lot less confident (especially at low revs) then a Opel Engine. I have Corsa D 1.2 86 hp and i love it.

@@TopSpeedBrothers yes this is why i really would like to see it. I own a opel corsa 1.4 Excite 90 PS and it says on the paper that the top speed is 175km/h but I can see that a smaller engine and a lower power can reach 180km/h. It would be interesting to see where the 1.4 engine can go.
I own this car myself since 2022, pushed the 70hp to 198kmh. 😂
I own a 2017 one, my max was 174 kmh. It gets a lot of time to reach max speed 😂

Small engines get so hot on express ways, not made for long distances.
Yea they work hard but unless it’s a long uphill in the summer overheating is not an issue

It's a 2015 Corsa, maybe there's a difference. It is slower, for example, it's slower than my wife's Panda Cross 4x2 1.2 69hp.
About the noise, maybe it's the camera that amplifies the sound a bit...

Drives faster than my (already gone) Twingo 2 and similar to my Omega loaded to maximum capacity. (2.3 tons)
They aren’t loved by many but they seem like solid cars and they do drive ok.

Especially the 1.2 seems to be the most reliable engine. It's the little brother of the 1.4 and the turbocharged 1.4t. All of them go with timing chains though.
Revs quite high, but takes it with a smile.
Allthough the actual Corsa "E", which is basicaly a facelifted D, officially called S-D, do smell quite funny inside the cabin.
Well, I love it! drove it back like a GoKart.
I have a slightly motified 1.4t. Listen to that undersized displacement-puddle growl.

Wir haben Dacia Logan 2008 1.5dci 75 PS, aber langsamer als das viel anders
Wir haben im sommer einen Logan MCV mit diesem Motor gefilmt. Der wagen ist auf jeden fall besser als sein ruf. Das einzig komische ist das der drehzahlmesser nicht zum motor passt.

How this 1.2 4cyl turbo can produce only 70hp ? I mean even the last gen corsa (D) produce 80hp with it 1.2 4cyl atmospheric
PS : it performs veryy good for 70hp its more like 85/90
it is actually my mistake the 1.2 is not a turbo engine, it is pretty much the same engine then the corsa D just with more restriction in the exhaust system

Wir waren auch überrascht, doch laut Fahrzeugschein ist es der 1.2 70ps Motor.
Wahrscheinlich hatte Opel für die Werksangabe keinen Fahrer mit Blauen Handschuhen 😉

@@TopSpeedBrothers ich fahre den 1.2er, die Höchstgeschwindigkeit halte ich für realistisch, meiner geht auch um die 180 kmh, allerdings die 0-100 Zeit überrascht mich, muss aber sagen meiner fühlt sich auch schneller als 16 Sekunden an, habe aber noch nie getestet, das werde ich auch nicht machen, aber vom Gefühl her definitiv schneller.
Mar Co Opel misst die 0-100 Zeiten mit 75kg Fahrer und 200 KG Beladung.

1.2 has different gear ratios. It's definitely 1.4 90hp...
