Vanilla Baby sounds so good on an electric guitar. As much as I love the album version, I would have preferred this version instead. Billie has come a long way since her EPs when she was a teenager. She is a really talented songwriter and singer.

Her songs on albums 2 & 3 were still quite good, but I love how it is JUST acoustic on her initial ep's, and on the AMAZING writing of blues and yellows. So hearing Billie live like this, solo, is great. Thanks for sharing! I've only had one listen to her new album, but it's promising and I'll give it more listens; your upload has encouraged me also. P.S. I saw her live in London in June 2018 and she also played Lionhearted and Mice, two of my favs 😀

Exposing people in power, revealing those darker truths in a lighter, nursery rhyme-style context. “She chooses life and then she chooses her man” describes that assumed female role, like it’s protocol. I liked playing and toying with a figure through song, it feels expressive and inventive without the threatening tone. I’m present this time around. Aware.”
