That is a 1962 FF 289. FF stands for Full Flow oiling & it also ditched the low compression truck heads with all new high compression heads. Black engine blocks with yellow rocker covers are a dead give away. only made in 62 & used until 64. Holy grail Studebaker engine. Watch out for 259 clones, They are full flow engine blocks, But retain the low compression truck heads. Studebaker international through the Mueseum can read your engine #'s & find birth records. I kept & drove my 2E12 / 3/4 ton pickup for 32 years AFTER the original owner / My uncle did the same for 32 years before giving to me... Enjoy

Frexcyjoy lazadawatching here again
✊ big like👍
@@StoneyProductions thanks brother!
I think you have a Studebaker 289 engine not a Chevy 283
One website said 283. I found out that it's either a 259 or 289 have to check side of the block to see which
283. was USED in 65 to 66 @@landoncustomclassics
Breath my man breath
@lopati15 I'm getting to fat to breathe!
Im here bestfriend ❤
Landon, how hard is it going to be to get parts for?
Shouldn't be too difficult! This is where you have to be very skilled so you can build your own parts or make what's there work sometimes, though..
Shut down the hood or you might lose it
Hood has issues so had it jammed in with a strap over it.
