Just Amazing! I'm pregnant with our first child. After 8 years of marriage and no attempts at getting pregnant at all, this little surprise came in January and I needed to hear this so much as a means to prepare myself for what I need to be ready to do when this little bundle arrives. My kids are a bit older... My daughter is 3 and my son will be 6 in December. I feel like I've just kind of fumbled my way through for the past 6 years, mostly because of dealing with very difficult life stuff. Just getting a grip on everything now. My advice to anyone about to have a baby is to get a grip on this stuff as soon as possible 😆. Go into it with the mindset of trying to glorify God, unlike I did.
Lol, the small group example only works when they're really little. We stopped going to evening small group because my son's sleep needs are a greater priority. However, for stay-at-home moms, there are a lot of great day time activities, such as ladies' Bible studies and MOPS.
Chubby little beached whale hahaha I’m so thankful to God for Pastor John … I am a mother of a six year old boy and a six month old girl I often find myself doubtful in my abilities when I become exhausted as a mother but what a wonderful task that the Lord has put me to to entrust me to such a precious children it’s not an easy job, but I am so thankful for it
I don’t know. A 2 month old cannot be spoiled, it’s not possible. Infants require A LOT of attention, they’re completely dependent. I think it’s important to respond to their needs right away when they’re infants. It’s just a season. I would just pray a listen to scripture while tending to my infants. When they get older, then you can start gently showing them they’re not the center of the universe.
I learned that 1-year-old can start to help with simple chores like feeding the cats and picking up dirty clothes. But they mostly do it as playing lolol But imo it's nice to start those things early so their world isn't just themselves with their little toys, but introducing the entire house to them early on helps them to see someone else's world.
