- Thailand, Pattaya: while strolling in Walking Street I realized that the Indians have taken over Thailand, specifically Pattaya! The Indian invasion started slowly, for years and years, but in recent times when the prices suddenly dropped, they invested heavily in the Sin City of Thailand!

Indian here, and bumped onto your video. I’m visiting Pattaya since 2002 and back then I used to be the only Indian in soi 6 and walking street. Things changed since 2015 afaik. Most of us go there for only one thing, boom boom. Sadly for Thailand lol or fortunately for Indians a lot of Indians started to have disposable income, and Pattaya is their go to option. Back in India , single Indian men are not allowed to enter nightclubs, pubs, and discos unless they’re with a female company. So, us Indians go to Thailand to boom boom, to listen to Indian music, and to eat Indian food. Also, the flight duration is like 4.5 hours. From Calcutta where I’m from it’s only 2 hours 40 mins and ticket price is only $120. Air Asia costs $50-$70 from my city. My last visit to Pattaya was in 2022 after the pandemic. And I was shocked to see so many Indians. I stopped going to Thailand after that trip. These days I prefer Hamburg, Mykonos, Ibiza for party and debauchery because I don’t want to see my type all around and get hounded in the same way as I get hounded back in my own country. I hope I was able to give you some insight why so many Indians come to Thailand. Keep up the good work, I loved your vibe and sense of humor. Grazie Mille.

Am from NE part of india where we look like Chinese Japanese koreans , and i speak this from personal experience. I was allowed to enter a club without any questions n the Indian fellow behind me basically wasn't allowed because yes he looks indian iam too but majority of Indians are Hindus, Bengalis, muslims no offense but most of them lack basic manners compared to NE people. When i say am indian people are always shocked

Even have Russians prosties now with Russian men on Walking Street arguing you to go inside their club. Imagine fleeing your country and whoring out your women for 1000/2000 baht.

I was so surprised to hear my plumber who earns 300 dollars per month was planning to go Thailand.... Thailand should make VISA mandatory for large population countries Indian and Chinese.
Thailand makes billions from Chinese tourists, also there are 9 million Chinese living there full time. It's just that you don't spot them, cause they almost look Thai.
I have enjoyed each and every one of your videos from Thailand. Regardless of any Indian invasion into Pattaya, it is a place I would never consider to visit. You’ve now experienced this place, and must surely know what draws people here. If I’d want to experience true Thai culture, this is obviously not the place. No disrespect for the Indians that come here, but I would travel to India for the real experience, not Thailand. We all have different tastes, outlooks, and expectations when traveling. Pattaya most certainly does not reflect true Thailand culture. It’s like myself telling you that tonight I’m going for real authentic Italian pizza at Domino’s. I think you get the picture. Thank you for sharing this experience, and educating us a bit more on Pattaya. 👏💯🏆👍. 🍕

And as an Indian I can say we are not sending our best to Pattaya….i traveled from my hometown in Kolkata to Bangkok to explore the temples, culture, and food in Bangkok and from all the conversations I could hear on the flight in my mother tongue - all of the single men had one thing on their mind, and the families only wanted to go to the beach resort and do nothing else.
Yes. As an Indian. I agree. For real indian experience it better to come india. Pattaya can't give you real indian culture experience. Our indian tourist in Thailand also love to see more Thailand culture, Thai temple, Thai food, meeting Thai people etc

They are there for the same reasons you are there. Just wait for a few months and if Chinese economy show signs of stabilizing ... the Chinese will outnumber any other tourist group.
India invasion to Pattaya make many real tourists leave Pattaya , Open visa for large country like India its big mistake for Thailand. If I want to go to India I can go to Mumbai it’s much cheaper and better food why I’m going to Thailand then.

I love surprising myself, finding out that things might be opposite of what we were told in our own country, I love to see that people even if different, they behave all the same, I really like trying new food, but honestly it’s hard to find something that would beat my dear Italian food.

Because Thailand gives Indian visa free entry.. that’s a big deal for Indians coz like their is only 2 other countries that do that for Indians, one is Nepal and other is Bangladesh.

No, assolutamente, ma ci sono italiani che all’estero si comportano talmente male che mi vergogno del fatto che abbiano il passaporto.
Per quanto riguarda questo video, il problema principale sono gli indiani di Delhi e d’intorni: sono quelli meno “acculturati”.
Se dovessi incontrare quelli del sud, ad esempio il Kerala, o del nord est, il Sikkim, vedresti che non hanno nulla a che fare con lo stereotipo indiano. E anche loro limitano le interazioni con gli indiani soprascritti.
È una situazione complicata perché è una nazione talmente vasta che è difficile classificarla tutta assieme.
Così come i cinesi: tutti pensano che mangiano cani, gatti, etc, poi però se vai a guardare le statistiche, il 99% della popolazione cinese non lo fa. Mentre il 38% dei vietnamiti del nord ce l’hanno come piatto comune più volte l’anno.
Dico solo che gli stereotipi sono una brutta bestia, anche se spesso veri.

Those who go abroad are Mostly from North india. Even many northeast indian and south indian don't like North or mainland Indian. Because of some bad indian, we all indian got bad name. Indians have a bad reputation in Europe either, but in their defense let me say that it’s easy to spot loud bad apples when you have such a massive number of people.
