I can relate with your story , I’ve also suffered the same persecution and am still persecuted by not only the family but also by the other moslems who knew i was a moslem , and have now turned to Jesus . I was lucky to leave for Europe just after I’ve received Christ , but i know from their reactions that they wouldn’t hesitate to attempt to take away my life if i were in Africa. Although i live in France , the backlash didn’t change , but it escalated mainly when i started making disciples in my family and around me . But all these persecutions are nothing compare to the Glorious Life that we have in Christ and that is waiting for us . Glory! I have a Fulani Christian brother from Nigeria. curiosity took him to church and he got convicted there. As the first convert also from his family it's not so easy with him.
I can feel the hurt when your family rejected you. I came from Sumatera, Indonesia 🇮🇩. My dad became Christian because he wanted to married my mother. The families of my father hated us so much. They saying we are najis(filthy). But as a young girl, I don’t understand but my mother we have be kind to other. I am a Fulani (plus Mandinka and Sousou) from Guinea, but I was born and raised in America. I became a Christian at 15, and I am the only one in my family as far as I know. While I thankfully haven’t faced any dangerous persecution for my faith, my heart goes out to those who suffer for choosing to follow Jesus. ❤
