- Lawrence Tong wakes up each morning excited to pursue this goal: vibrant communities of Jesus followers among the least reached. As the International Director for Operation Mobilization, he oversees the ministry of 5000 gospel workers-including many serving in places where Christians face intense persecution.
Lawrence’s first taste of missions-and of the work of OM-came aboard a ship, docking at different ports to share the gospel and train up local Christians. Witnessing a spiritual fire among the young people on the boat, Lawrence committed two years to serving with OM. That commitment has now grown into more than 40 years of gospel work amongst the least reached!
Listen as Lawrence shares about his six years of ministry work in China, and an update on the current challenges faced by persecuted Christians there.
God is still calling people to go to dangerous places to share about Jesus. If you feel called to global gospel work, Lawrence will offer advice about how to think about, pray about and prepare for that calling. He’ll also equip listeners to pray for the persecuted church in Afghanistan, Nepal, and China to stay firm in faith, and help us pray for the work of OM around the world.

I 'm from Sri Lanka , often I watch VOM videos, it's really encourage an edify, who ever listens these videos knows how hard to reach to these people in Afghanistan, hard mountain trails yet God gives enough energy, I believe that God will use someone for His great mission, I do pray for the whole mission.

Really encouraged by all those engaged in spreading the gospel especially in areas where christian are persecuted especially middle East, praying for you from Kenya, Christ Jesus for us to salvation
I'm falling in love with this channel everyday because they prepare Christians for the worse( persecution). I see the other side of the gospel that is not often talked and practiced in our modern day

OM has the same vision as Bible translators were lead into by the Lord
that being, nationals are more affective in translating the Bible then foreigners.

The perilous countries like communists, the christians there need our prayers, we pray for them that they can stand firm their faith, the Lord our God helps them to be safe at all times & the word of God will spread through out the communist countries so that all the people there will heard the word of God & be saved

I keep warning what the Holy Spirit said to me in 2020 after I humbled myself even if it falls on deaf ears.
This is not an opinion or interpretation the Holy Spirit said this himself after I humbled my self after what happened to my mum and dad believing as a child trusting God fully like a child does a parent and that small still voice the Holy Spirit answered me.
