- I'm not even going to pretend. I have always supported the whole Seiya x Usagi pairing and quite frankly, I prefer Seiya over Mamoru for Usagi lololol (pls don't kill me) I've been looking for songs to turn into lyrics videos and I decided to start off with the series that are very close to my heart. This song by the Starlights is one of favorites back when I was a kid and until now, it still hurts me so much because we all know this song is about Seiya's unrequited love with Usagi. //cry
Unfortunately, I could not find the kanji lyrics of this song. For some odd reason, the kanji lyrics was not released (or encoded) and most of the Sailor Moon songs do not have their kanji counterparts. (Minus the official openings and endings) So I apologize for the missing lyrics! However, you guys can still get the drift and feels with the english lyrics :'))

That line "if we met earlier" mannn it hurts my feelings seiya had no chance against mamoru since usagi and him met before seiya gets to know usagi
And on top of that, Mamoru and Usagi literally have a future child, and rule the silver millennium together, were lovers in past lives, and are destined for each other. Seiya had no chance! I do like that Usagi explored her options a bit in that season though. I love their relationship, it has so much more chemistry.
@@okiguess2313 I have never liked this destined love-destined future child thing. For me it's been always an alternative future, which honestly can be changed. The saddest part in the anime is when in the last scene Usagi asked Mamoru whether he loved her. It was just awkward. The manga is even more devasteting as Usagi as a character stuck in the box "constantly cry after Mamoru" and she ends up fighting all alone somewhere in the universe. In my head this girl finds her non-toxic love once and none of the alternative future happen to her.

I never believed Seiya’s love for Usagi was one-sided. Not one bit. Usagi loved Seiya in return, more than a friend. She just had to honor her relationship with Mamoru and needed to be careful as a “good girlfriend” would do, but she had strong powerful love for Seiya (they kiss in the manga and in the anime, she cries for him and blushed when they have their moment alone together before the concert, as well as the fair). Even though he only saw refusal before, Seiya discovered Usagi loved him back when she said “Seiya” as a tear ran down her face. Seiya saw that tear and kissed it, kept it on his lips. She smiled with joy as she cried more for him. Anime kept chanting it one-side love. Not sure why. It was reciprocated emotionally. It just physically had to be one-sided for Mamoru’s sake. But the love was reciprocated between the two on a spiritual, mental and emotional level (and eye contact). They had powerful eye contact.. Had they met earlier, they would have been together. Period.
So happy Fanfictions exits so I may continue to ship Seiya x Usagi. I hope Cosmos honors Seiya kissing Usagi like the manga❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
I know in the anime (unlike the manga) they had the starlights physically change into men in civilian form (not just clothes) but I always thought that was a temporary thing. Didn’t Seiya tell Kakyuu they looked like that to attract women better or something? I assumed that meant they didn’t look like that on their planet
Seiya and Usagi is my bias forever, no matter how many times I watch Sailor Moon Sailor Stars. Their chemistry does shine like a star and I love that shine.

i really hope they will remake the sailormoon sailor stars episodes and make it romantically favor for usagi and seiya/ star fighter even though they cant be together in the end.. still i hope they will make episodes of them a little bit longer and that i must heard from usagi that she had it for seiya before they say goodbye😭🤧
Yes, If possible, at the end, Usagi thinks to herself that if there were no Mamochan, She would love Seiya. It must be nice if they add a script like this....:(

I ship Seiya x Usagi as well. There was once a time in my life when I shipped Mamoru x Usagi since it was cannon. But then the show introduced Seiya and I fell in love with him and Usagi's chemistry. Whilst Usagi and Mamoru got together because of their past lives' relationship, Seiya genuinely loved Usagi for her own personality. He loved her so much that he was willing to let Usagi go to Mamoru for her own happiness (as the song says). Oh well. This ship will live on in my heart forever!!

If u listen to the song "Makenai!" u will see it's actually not Mamoru/Usagi, but Seiya/Usagi in the end even if its not shown in the anime.

I love watching Seiya and Usagi’s chemistry unfold in Stars! It was so different and it flowed. They fit each other even though she had Manoru. Seiya let her be herself and loved Usagi!
While I do not ship Seiya with Usagi, my heart breaks for him/her so much. I never quite realized how depressing this song is, until much later. Especially the part where he is longing to have met Usagi earlier so he could have a chance. I lament for him so much.

I think the songs which are played during the whole series are very important by understanding the real story of "Sailor Moon".
Also I believe the song "Makenai!" tells us the real ending, even if it's not shown in the anime.

Tbh, until a few months ago, I was a total shipper of Mamoru x Usagi, but then I rewatched the stars arc and also fell in Love with Seiya x Usagi but just because, Mamoru in the 90s version isn't as cool, as in Crystal x'D

I can only speak Spanish and English but I did learn a little Japanese. Honestly it’s not that hard singing this song as long as you know to pronounce the words (カタカナ、ひらがな) (katakana and hiragana) I guarantee if your practice the Japanese “alphabet” it’ll be easy to sing this song! :)

Oh my gosh! Well done on this video! Thank you so much for the subbing! Sailor Stars made me fall in love with the Three Lights. And yup I confess: I ship Seiya and Usagi! I love their other song Search For Your Love but I never actually known the lyrics for this song. You can tell Seiya put his heart and feelings in here. One sided love can hurt but somewhere in a fanfiction they got together!
