BOTS vs RAGNAROK: Abyss Lake (Pre-Re)

In this video (music video?) the bot party takes on Abyss Lake.
The configuration for this dungeon actually took some time to set up and get gear for. Getting through the first and second floor was no problem, but once they got into the third floor and had to deal with Gold Acidus, Hydrolancer, and Detale it needed a bit more forethought. It also required optimising some existing party systems.
The focus of the party ended up centering around the Sniper and Sharp Shooting everything. Her stats were reset and gear acquired to boost Sharp Shoot CRIT chance and damage vs dragons. The Paladin is set up to use Shield Charge on any Ferus or Acidus that gets close. It has the Sniper, Priest(s), Lord Knight, and Clown devoted at certain times, so it needs a lot of HP. The best source for easy HP increase was the Goibne set so we had to do some Thanatos Tower runs to get all the pieces first.
The Professor needed a new plugin to better manage giving out mana (sp). I needed to maintain a list of characters who had requested mana, and have a priority list of who would get mana first. The previous system was that a character would ask, the Professor would try to give mana, and whether it did or didn't the Professor would move on to doing other things. Without a priority list, the Professor might also give mana to the Paladin (Low Prio) before giving it to a High Priest keeping the party alive (High Prio). The prio list for giving mana is:
Daybreak(SNPR) ➜ Avabruck(HP) ➜ Gatstaf(HP) ➜ Arlinn(LK) ➜ Lambholt(HW) ➜ Hanweir(PA) ➜ Wildsong (CLWN)
There is also a weird issue with characters having Bragi but not KNOWING they have Bragi that I haven't figured out yet. Something weird with openkore.
Fighting Detale was also interesting. Originally my plan was to get a Gae Bolg and have the Lord Knight just pierce it to death. The other classes would help with supplement damage, but because Detale's def and mdef is higher than other bosses, they wouldn't help much. At some point I remembered that Sharp Shooting could CRIT, thereby bypassing Detale's DEF. The strategy for killing Detale then became:
Priest spams Lex Aeterna
Sniper spams Sharp Shooting
Nobody else touches it
I set up the Professor, Paladin, Clown, and High Wizard to NOT attack Detale so as to not eat the Lex, which worked most of the time. They would attack either the summoned Hydro, or whatever random Ferus/Acidus they chose. The Lord Knight only needs to do enough damage for the boss to be considered "being tanked", then the Sniper and Priest go to town.

Playing on a pre-renewal server called Asgard's Glory. Connection limit is 8 characters, so party composition is pretty important.

@@cheesebang this boss I had to position myself. Detale's flame breath has a huge hitbox and it can wipe the whole party if it hits them

As a programmer, are you unable to break the security of gepard shield?

@@MaterialBlade Have you ever been curious about trying to "break" this security? because I've heard rumors that gepard was abandoned, so I believe that whoever has understanding on the subject, there will be no future barriers in case of success... can you study any way to circumvent such a defense system? @@rcdramos I enjoy the process of botting, talking about it, and showing it off. If I have to hide what I'm doing, I'm not interested. So to answer your question, no, I'm not curious about getting past anti-bot measures. Cheers.

​@@rcdramos It is possible to bypass GepardShield but no experienced hacker will look into it because it only serves purpose on a game that doesnt make them money. Since gepard doesnt run on kernel level its even easier to bypass and the game doesnt give you random captcha mid game too like GBF..

I don't think it's worked on iRO for many, many years. You can always check the openkore github page, though.
