I had an open circuit for the sensor A. Somehow three wires were cut-might be a rodent. I have rewired those three lines following the color code. But I could not clear the check engine/trouble code, my obd device says it is a permanent code. Any suggestions on how to clear this code? (2017 Camry)
A permanent code needs a Drive Cycle to be fully clear. Usually, the dashboard light will go off, and the codes will go away once the Drive Cycle is complete. You can google your vehicle year make along with a drive cycle for the steps the computer needs to speed it up.
I accidentally pull the wire out and I don’t know which goes to what the color are yellow blue and black please if you could help me out with this problem
Hey guys, I had code p0017 and p0368 in a Sienna 08 I fixed it by replacing the camshaft sensor, the AutoZone brand didn’t work so I used one from the junk yard! Works like a charm. Use denso brand
Well done. Going to check my 08 Highlander when I get home. Thanks.
Very informative learn something new everyday!! Thank you

I think you might be showing sensor locations wrong in this video. Locations A and B should be swapped.

Look at the other sensor which has not been messed up, and follow the same color code for the wiring.
Thank you
I changed my camshaft position sensor. The check engine light is still on. Driven it 300 miles. The car runs great. Where is the fuse?
