Can u remember the name of the family who went to the Amazon and the elder missionary was killed by a paranoid native but his grandchild forgave him and invited him to his graduation?? THIS WAS ONE OF THE 1st MURDERS OF A MORMON IN SOUTH AMERICA
That missionary was NOT a Mormon. That was Jim Elliot and the movie was called End of the Spear. I read the book based on Jim Elliot’s life. His wife Elisabeth Elliot and the other woman whose husbands were speared went into the jungles of Ecuador and friended the Indians. Excellent story but Jim Elliot and the other men were American missionaries non-denominational faith and not Mormons.
I don't know about that one, but plenty of young Mormon missionaries have died on their missions. Yes, murder, but also there has been severe illnesses that have lead to death. There are also many cases, including of young men, being sexually assaulted by other missionaries. These young kids PAY their own way and suffer quite a lot, all to increase the profits of an already obscenely rich church. I think with 50 billion dollars, the church could pay the way of the missionaries and take good care of them, whether in the US or foreign countries. The moral takeaway is if you don't want to be killed, don't go trying to tell other countries what to believe.
Why do you feel sorry for members if the church of jesus christ of latter day saints as I don't understand .. I am a member of the church of jesus christ of latter day saints and I don't see why ppl would feel so sad for us as we are followers of christ and yes the church has had its issues in the past but so has all churches.. I feel that sometimes ppl don't wanna understand the faith at all .

Thumbs up for more interviews 👍

Just what was the actual purpose of this broadcast?
Have you even heard about this?
To cover a master forger?
Not only did he forge LDS documents, he did the same with important US documents that fooled the experts once again.
Very interesting. I feel sorry for Mormons when I stumble upon them in Paris.
