@@jimmycline4778 Maybe, but the regular guy could afford a boat in the 70s and 80s. I ran a Hydrostream Viper in the early days of Mod V P before the air entrapment boats. Now it appears the rules for these classes are directed for production race boats. I do miss the affordability of outboards of the day.!! Or as you would say- the 70s !! Just a point, buddy !!

I have been blessed by the God (s) to be able to say l competed in these underdogged boats that the southern croud kind of laughed at - until they got beat !! Pipkorn and his engineering guys where far ahead of their time. I now am recoring a V - king and making it a center console for my son and Grandson. Long live this wonderful legend !!
