Very nice James. For some reason seeing Game Boy boxes seems extra special compared to other Nintendo systems. You just don't see them as much. Back then we didn't think to keep them. Unlike the console game for some reason we viewed gb boxes as disposable. We were idiots 😂
Very nice mate. Like you say it’s nice to get a box for Tetris as most of us would have got it as a pack in game. I need to give Wave Race on the GB a go. As you know I’m a big fan of the N64 game and I’ve heard good things about the GB game. I’m not a Pokemon guy, but I’m aware of how rare and sort after the OG games are. Great vid mate.

Was never into the gameboy as a kid james buddy but I like it now and need to get more games so when I see the gameboy cardboard I think oh that's nice then my wallet says no chance 🤣 they look awesome bud 😃👍
Very unusual pickup mate, great to see. Agree with all the comments, you can't beat a nintendo box when they are in very good - mint condition. I only found out recently that the wave race series started on gameboy! Also how come you are sporting a decent neat haircut?! I'm looking more like a wildman over here by the day!
Cheers mate. Yeah it is a bit out of the ordinary, was excited to share it. Haha I used my electric razor I bought during the first lockdown. It was getting on my nerves being so messy and no hair cut in sight at a barbers, so got my mam to do it. My wife didn't fancy doing it this time haha.
On some of the Boxes there is no Barcode on the backside, instead it just says "DISPLAY BOX". I ask if it would be a problem to send such a CIB Game to Wata or VGA 🤔
Display boxes were often used in retail as sticker barcodes could be added. With regards to VGA or WATA it would have to be sealed unless you believe the game inside the box would be new and it would grade as something slightly different.

No problem 😊. I've asked a friend who gets a lot of games graded and he isn't sure regarding VGA. He thinks WATA may grade it under their Complete In Box category. Definitely worth an email to them to ask.
@@FlashbackTNT Right, that was what i meant, Complete in Box😃 As far as i know Complete in Box games that will be graded, only have to be 1x Box with a paper cartrige holder inside, 1x Game Cartrige and 1x Manual. Additional things that originally were in the new box dont have to be present and dont influence the Grading at Wata as far as i have heard. And the submitted components dont have to be from one and the same game as it was originally packaged and sold by Nintendo. As well how would they check if the submitted thigs are from different boxes mixed together in one? They cant. So i think this would not be a problem of what i have heard - but i dont know safely.. But then if the box would say "DISPLAY BOX" Wata would know that for sure this Box never was sold and refuse to grade it🤔 Would be a really nice question indeed😃🤔
It does seem a bit of a difficult one to verify doesn't it and opens up all kinds of possibilities really. It is what makes collecting so interesting haha!
