I like the way you show the final result, you walk around the bike so you can see how it really looks with the mod!! I am having the same risers put on my bike, I agree that the bars are too low and with the Saddleman seat I put on the bars are too far forward. Installing the risers will make for a more comfy ride

Very good video. Just put these risers on my 2018 Sport Glide and what a difference. The only reason I waited so long was I wanted to use the original clamp with Harley logo, but nobody ever came out with risers that you could do that. Thanks for the helpful video.

I put the exact same risers on my sport glide, world of difference in handling. At the time they only had the chrome, so I had them powder coated gloss black. Most of my bike is blacked out. Great video, cheers from Calgary

Nice video. The question is how are such risers affect on vibration? Stock riser is connected via rubber bushing however new risers touching cross-bar directly.

@@ToddsProjectsandOutdoorJournal I just ordered a set of 3 1/2” risers with 1” pullback for my 2000 Dyna Super Glide. Seeing that the stock riser is probably about 1 1/2” I’m thinking this amounts to about a 2” rise. Hoping cables reach.. seems they probably would ya think?

Love this! I've a 2019 sport glide, and been thinking about this as well. I noticed you said you didn't have to do any recabling. Was there enough slack in the throttle one, then? as when I enquired at my local dealership, they said would most likely need a new one.

There is no need for any recabling with the product I installed. Brake, clutch and throttle all work perfectly. If you go to the 6 inch pull back instead, then you will really be at the limit of OEM cables. Hope this helps. Best of luck...

Great video! I also have Sport Glide and plan to install the same curved pull back fat risers to get a more comfortable riding position; but, I haven’t decided between the 4 or 6 inch. Have a question, how did you determine the 4 inch curved pull back risers were right for you?

    • @ToddsProjectsandOutdoorJournal

After demoing the reach seat from my Harley-Davidson dealership. I liked the 1.5 inch reduction in reach to the handlebar but didn't like other things about that seat. Also, I didn't want to have to re-cable the clutch or brake. The 4 inch is comfortable and has no performance issues. After doing my install of the 4 inch I think the 6 inch would really be tight without re-cabling. I'm happy with everything about the 4 inch pull back fat risers. Good luck...
