      I am familiar with ANSYS Design Modeler, I will try to make it in Spaceclaim for you , You can also try to make it using ANSYS design modeler. Only you need to select it before starting the geometry.

    Hi, I would like to ask why after I using Boolean subtract my static mixer, then I went for meshing it, but the static mixer is still inside my meshing? It should be no static mixer inside right for meshing

      Check for any overlapping between the geometry before Boolean

      @@AnsysTutorMay I know if I import my static mixer from solidwork to design modeler and draw out another cylinder in design modeler like what u did in video, does it also one of the factor that affect my meshing like my question ask before?

      You should always keep in mind that there should not be any over lapping of geometry, the new cylinder created will overlap with the solidworks part. Even you do the boolean, once check the inside of the geometry by using hide & unhide surface and check the number of parts generated after the boolean .

      This can be done using the multiphase model. You can see our multiphase tutorials to get an idea how to do this analysis.

    in the very begning of mesh it was showing mesh size inspite of relvance or no. of elements olease clarify that...how to handle that in my case.

      Click on mesh then in the details of mesh you could find these.

    If I add energy for a heat transfer analysis, it doesn’t work. I’ve tried with CFX and the flow works until I add a temperature boundary condition. Any idea how to model heat transfer in a flow like in this video???

      In such case you need to decrease the residuals for energy equation.

      in ic engine mxing the diesel 80% + ethanl 20% by using cfd

    One question. Are u really sure about pressure drop value? I found some info in literature, that for 6elements kenics mixer pressure drop should be near 16,5 Pa. I have the same problem like u, my drop is max 2 Pa. How we can fix it?

      it depends on the geometry.

      ​@@AnsysTutor ofc buddy, the most important values are: aspect ratio and thickness for element geometry and viscosity and Re for liquid properties, but here for example: www.researchgate.net/publication/237224585_Laminar_Flow_in_Static_Mixer_with_Helical_Elements , u can easly read that in similar conditions values of pressure drop are completly different :)
