I had the 2 books you wrote on Clean and Simple Scrapbooking. They need to be republished because they would be just as helpful for card makers. I lost mine in a move! Keep on doing you!

I love the inks, they really are smooth, almost custardy (is that a word?) in texture....but where is the purples? Hope they are planning to add a few more colors in the future. Cards are so cute.

I am what I guess ppl would call a minimalist so I love this card! And the ink is fab! Since I am wanting to switch slowly over to a new ink and cardstock line, does SSS have the new ink to match the cardstock? Oh you may have just answered. Not sure. I want to start slowly switching and I need pink ink to start and oranges. I was going with Gina, but now with this IDK if there will be matching cardstock. So since you are very familiar with both, I really need your opinion. I don't mind waiting until you use it a while to see and compare but would you please let me know which you like better? I already have hundreds of dollars invested in Stampin up and don't like it and now want to start getting something else and wean out so I want to make sure what I do into is the right move. Your expertise is definitely needed an appreciated. Thanks Cathy.

Seems like Catherine Pooler inks. Will Simon come out with minis? I usually buy the re-inkers and un-inked pads and do my own minis. It’s hard to get mini ink pads right now but the ranger cut-n-dry foam pads works great. Cut to the size you need.
What a kewl set. Well thought out. I looked at the release and that one didn’t catch my eye. Kinda like a clothing item that didn’t look like much on the hanger, but looks surprisingly good when you try it on. Lol! And I saw those inks…hmmmmm. Simon doesn’t do re-inkers, do they? Must be a different philosophy, perhaps?
Your cards are simply gorgeous! What kind of inks are these…pigment, solvent, other? Can they be used with water colors or Gamsol? (Probably not water colors since you splattered with water.) I don’t have a lot of experience with stamping and all the different inks are a bit confusing as to when/how to use them.
They are dye inks and yes, you could paint with them if you wanted! I always paint with dye inks. I haven't tried that yet but I will and share the results!
I have more videos coming and cards sharing these inks. So far, I am very impressed with them. They stamp beautifully. The blend beautifully. They dry smoothly! I believe we have more colors, hopefully, coming in the future, as well! Fingers crossed. I really like these inks a lot!
Totally get that! Once, many years ago when I was just starting out in my self employed life, I couldn't even afford adhesive. It was not in the budget. My bestie sent me some in the mail. And yes, I may have cried. Been there. Respect budgets tremendously!
Nice colors, but NO I will not be buying SS inks. Why? because they don't offer Re inkers. I have contacted them 3 times about this and NEVER heard back. IMO an ink pad is useless without re inkers.

I've been embossing with my Heat It tool for 20+ years. You just need to let it warm up a little longer. I love that tool.

They are not… but they do blend really nicely! They are a dye ink formula; Oxides have pigment qualities.

I'm not sure why we don't offer those. But this is a new line and a new product, so I can't answer that yet for certain!
Can you emboss with the new inks using clear embossing powder?
Have not tried it yet! Maybe? They are higher viscosity so they do stay wet longer. I will test it out and see!

Heidi just announced on the live that there will be reinkers coming for the new pads! Not sure when but she did say it!
Great cards, great tips… but when you whisper… it’s sometimes difficult to hear what you’re saying🙄
