Seems to me that Mrs. Hewitt wants Arthur on an even shorter leash than Pauline had him on. She didn't care that Arthur wanted Pauline and his family back. Mark was right in putting her in her place.
@Albie Gray yes I couldn't agree more. Well said Mark. 👍👏 Christine needed put in her place. She finally got the message from Mark & she vanished from walford forever, never seen or heard of again! - thank f*** for that! I'm Glad Pauline & Arthur eventually sorted out their differences in the end. Pauline got over Arthur's affair & they stuck together till his death tore them apart. Arthur would die almost 3 years later after this (may 1996). Pauline herself died 13 years later (Christmas Day 2006). Then her ashes got buried at Arthur's grave. Together forever.❤💖💑
Despite this being Christine's last on-screen appearance, she still had the cheek sending a wreath and letter of condolence to Pete's funeral that December, just for attention (the pair of them shared a brief mutual relationship before Christine embarked on her affair with Arthur). Luckily, this was only noticed by Ethel and Dr. Legg.
2:23 - 2:42 Bye, Bye Christine Hewitt. 👋 Well done to Mark for putting her in her place. At least the bad smell departed walford, never seen or heard of again. 😁 Doubt no-one misses her. So glad Arthur & Pauline did eventually get back together & remained together till Arthur's sudden death in May 1996. Then Pauline died herself 10 years later (2006) & her ashes were buried at Arthur's gravestone. At least now Mr. & Mrs. Fowler are together forever even in heaven. 😇💏💑❤❤☁🌈
Mark was a great character he had always had an edge about from David Scarborough portrayal of him to Todd Cartey a pre Dennis Rickman in many ways, shame they made him soft over that drippy Lisa.
I think Mrs. Hewitt's final scene should have been between her and Arthur. But this worked ok. 90s Mark Fowler in intense mood is very sexy, with those steely aqua eyes. Yum!
Yep, do you want the full episodes or just certain clips? I might not be able to upload the entirety of 09/09/03 as some of it is already on the official EE youtube so it might get blocked for copy right.
Mark is simply brilliant… one of my favourite characters.
I liked him till he did the bill made me go right off him

Good for you Mark and Michelle telling Mrs. Hewitt off!
I loved Christine Hewitt she was an amazing character
He’s speaking more sense than most of the other characters.

It was only a matter of time before Mrs Hewitt turned into Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction.
Mrs. Hewitt was intense, but nowhere near as messed up as Jack Woodman, Michelle's one night stand turned stalker!

Good on mark for putting christine in her place
Mark’s brilliant.
Pauline Fowler was an old trout but nobody deserves to be cheated on.
Many people growing up watching this crap would have probably been a lot happier if they hadn't
Mark was fit
This is brill, thank you. Do you also have episode 09/09/1993 and 28/09/1993?

Its true Pauline didn't know how to be happy. She always nagged arthur and he put up with it. After he died he became saint Arthur of walford 😮
Mrs Hewitt was right about Pauline. She was a right miserable old battleaxe.
