What, steal all the glory from his officers and investigators by using their hard work while he was at home in bed to constantly campaign for his reelection? The reason you don’t see other sheriffs as often is because their chief or sheriff lets the officer that made the bust or solved the crime give the press conference and get the credit. This is one of the first times he has ever actually introduced the people that did the hard work and even now he has them off camera 90% of the time.

It is just that I have seen these high profile cases popping up more and more for over twenty years. I grew up without the internet but had access to it once I turned fourteen years old. The number of predators who messaged me and tried to groom me, meet me, was staggering. It's absolutely disgusting and always has been. Obviously, there were always children being victimized before the dawn of the age of information Era. Victims from older generations were more likely to not report their experiences. There's a list of reasons that we are now exposed to so many cases all over the country, daily. My personal opinion is that the internet has made everything worse for our society. The dark web furnishing child sexual abuse material for all the tech-savvy weirdos with a VPN and a predilection for children. Pornography is so easily accessible and all over the place, so it's not difficult to view images and videos of adults engaging in sexual acts and seeing sexual content made by anyone who is of the legal age has caused people who aren't mentally, spiritually, or sexually healthy to start looking at younger and younger children. Pedophilia is mainly a male issue, as female pedophiles are extremely rare. This unhealthy obsession many men have with youth, virginity, innocence, and virtue is so common, and nobody bats an eye at this. Clothing for children being designed and made by pedophiles, for pedophiles is increasingly getting worse. Clothing that would be generally marketed and sold to 16 years of age or older are now sold to 10, 12 year olds... If you have sons and daughters, you'd notice the change in clothing for your daughters become skimpy and revealing earlier and it becomes difficult to find clothes that pass the dress codes at school. We live in a society that sexualizes children, and we have a piss poor way of handling pedophiles in the Criminal Justice System. This guy got so many slaps on the wrist for being a legit weirdo, and he will target kids again if they don't identify more victims of his in order to charge him so it's enough to put him away for years. This is just one pedophile out of millions that are roaming around free and unassuming, because we don't do enough to put them away and keep them locked up. They have more rights and protection than their victims. If I had it my way, anyone caught looking at CASAM or showing a predilection for children would be locked away for life, and sex offenders with crimes against children would be given the death penalty for the first offense. I'm sick of these disgusting men getting away with being pedophiles and victimizing children.
That has to be so hard for the police to do their job and then the justice system is easy on them getting them parole. Let's hope they get him in prison for life. He is dangerous. I wish there was a police department like the POLK COUNTY POLICE DEPARTMENT more then only in FLORIDA because this world would be a much better, safer, kind, happier place. These officers here are absolutely the best and to see them work vigorously time after time is the most heart wrenching press conference I have ever witnessed!
That happened to me when I was at Virginia Key in Biscayne. He was hiding behind some bushes. I just started recording him and he ran off. Then I let Beach Patrol know about it. I have these types of numbers saved on my cell just in case. You all should too when going to recreational spots. Get the local police numbers. And Happy Birthday nutjob, we hope you liked the gift.
