I think it's awesome that even after they ousted him from the band in 68 that they still supported him. While growing up I didn't know the full picture, only that Syd had mental health issues. I did not realize that they still helped him but I'm sure my Uncle Sonny knew. He's a big Floyd fan.

Interesting observation to this FANTASTIC music. I have the original LP and tried switching between TH-cam (MP3) and the LP. Everything equal, the same amp, speakers etc ... just the switch between the two. The LP is 1000% better. Much deeper base and just generally a fuller sound .... live on analogue ....

There actually was 60fps (30fpsX2) on television (NTSC). In any case, if this was filmed with film, not videotape, then it can be scanned in high (HD) detail. That's how that much-ballyhooed "Last Christmas in 4K" was able to happen. They found a film copy of it, scanned it in 4K res, and voila.

If you have them you can then sample it in whatever rate you want : even 386khz 64 bit!
2006 DVD and older VHS and laserdisc had 60i which gives you 60 fps.
