This is the pinnacle of any violin playing ever. I don't think there has ever been a better violinist than Antal Zalai. Oh and the pianist is fantastic as well.

I think that this Antal Zalai is probably the best violinist of all time. I showed Him to my violin teacher and She (Beverly Somach was Jascha Heifetz Sole Student) She's 83 now. And she said He is FANTASTIC.!!!
Rodgers and Hammerstein MGM musical collection I had wonderful memories watching them with my mother thus aficinado of vintage films. Music Arrangement melodies are lush , lilting, Luminescent warm the heart. Violin Virtuoso and Piano Prodigy at the height of musical expertise as ambassador of classical music.
Man, are these guys on the money or what? Great arrangement and wonderfully performed! Both the Schimmel piano and Antal's violin with perfect tonality!!! Bravo!!!!!! Oh, nice job Mr. Gershwin/Frolov!!
I absolutely love this performance :-) and just for reference, this is the most I've seen Antal deviate from his vertical axis. From around 11:20 following. Deeply felt rendition.♥
@@creedstump0662 Not a robot, and I hope my own comments are not taken badly. Unlike other soloists who contort their bodies and their faces to make an expressive point. Antal doesn't do that, and he makes the expressive point convincingly 🙂 Hoping for new videos, but can listen forever to those already up!
@@ramonmiranda223 i agree. while there’s nothing really wrong with moving while playing, it is very refreshing to see soloists that focus more on showing emotion through the violin rather than through their body

antal zalai is up there with some of my favorite violinists of all time. this piece is also incredible and i would love to learn it later this year
