Hi, I got this unit installed few days back. The original system reverse video was crisp sharp but with this unit it’s blurry. I tried playing with video settings but nothing changed. Do anyone have solution for this ?

Hi mate will have no affect on the locking mech :)
Will the upgraded cameras make the image of the car on the screen look normal size? The setup you showed here has the car all squished 😀
You can change the size of video on the screen from full screen to a more proportion style.

If hooked up right the camera should come on when the camera button is pressed.

I have the 2024 nissan patrol platinum v8, and Im very cinfused by the fact that you only get wireless apple carplay but need to be connected by usbc for android auto, Anyway to fix that? Also, how do you use the entire screen? There is always a square box that's just blocked out.

If my reverse camera blackout but the camera button light turned on does that mean the cable camera still attached? The camera light doesnt turn on when the car on P or D. Why is doing that?

What was the process to get the factory headrest screens to work with unit? Where there settings to adjust?
What I did to get it working was to purchase a USB to CVBS cable and hook that to the headrest input on the harness. This will depend on your model and what harness you use to install it of course.
Hi, I have a series 1 patrol Y62, and tried to install the next size screen up from this and ran into a problem ( there seemed to be no power to the new screen or buttons) . I then reverted to stock and plugged my old unti in, and still had the same problem ( On stock now no display, and no buttons work in middle panel) . Is there a computer reset needed or something?
Also, I noticed a blue ODB port connector that looked like bluetooth. What is the purpose of that?

What if you have the TVs in the headrest and the DVD player will it still work?
Rear screens compatible but the front DVD player is removed.
@The Fitting Bay can you please elaborate on connecting the rear screens to the unit. I note that you say a HDMI to RCA adaptor is required (I have one already), do you then have to install a HDMI cable to the rear and if so where does it connect?
I have the same unit but rear ac dosent control it only turns on from front

I fixed today that unit, my concern is when you put in reverse the image showing in display is inverted. Is there any settings or adj.? Tnx.
yes it is in the settings menu under Reverse

I have installed on a QX80 but no camera.
@@lantarkimairetire4742 I used the wrong wires at first and that damaged the mother board. I had to get a new mother board and make sure to use the correct wires this time around

Where did you eventually get the replacement motherboard and proper instructions for the wiring pls?
I got it from my original seller from alibaba, they also told me which was the correct harness.

Yes it should work with OEM TPMS. If you have aftermarket you will need one that works with the radio in order for it to work.

Why do you need a sim for maps? Seems illogical. The factory unit doesn't need a sim which requires a plan. Nor does a navman etc. Based on this one factor I'm not interested $2600 and I gotta pay to use what was free in the factory unit.. also you seemed to only be able to view the rear camera only where as you can view all cameras individually in the standard console, then you say heated seats don't work with a giggle WTF, dead pointless feature. Buttons sounded cheap also...pass. Fix these issues and I'll buy one
Not having "on board maps" is not an issue. You can easily go ahead and download offline maps and no sim needed so thats point 1 dead. point 2 you can view all cameras? even moreso with the upgraded ones thats point 2 dead. and heated seats use the genuine controls, the exact ones you use now, so no difference and there we have it point 3 dead haha :) give me a call if you have any questions mate.

there is no way that sccreen is 12.3... its akwardly wide and short too..
