I have the MAS at the end of my mastering chain and I love it. Was looking at adding a VCA compressor to my signal path and now the SVC is definitely on the list...in fact it seems like many of the SVC functions overlap with those of the MAS. If thats the case, I might just sell the MAS and pick up a used SVC. Thanks for posting.
I haven't heard the MAS, but from reading what it does I would assume with the SVC you don't need the MAS anymore (at least on the master) - what I'm trying to say: I'm overly happy with my SVC. Everything sounds better with this unit.
absolutely - I love this machine. It makes everything sound better. This test is almost 3 years old. ... I use it now always on my master buss and I cannot imagine to work without it. I have to admit that the settings in this video here are not optimal... I took me a bit of testing to get a feeling for good settings
