I don't think so. But what you could do is change the position and orientation of the component axis to align to the axis that you want to rotate around.

I think the door will open or let you pass through, on your walk through settings (avoid collisions) you can't save DC actions in an export to MP4 as it only saves scene change animations

But the next click will not get it back to the starting position again. It just flaps and falls back to the open position. WhatamIdoingwrong?
You need to move the group axes so that the door pivots from the opposite hinge. When editing the group, right-click on the group axes and select "place" which will allow you to move it to a different pivoting point.
Sorry I don't quite know what you mean but I can tell you that dynamic component interaction is not supported in the Sketchup desktop viewer or iPad viewer - only in the main program

I haven't tried this, but maybe it would work if you take the leaf and make it a component, then duplicate it and flip the duplicate.

It might be available in Sketchup Make 2017 but not for the current browser based versions Sketchup Free & Sketchup Shop.

Hi Adrian, can you include a dynamic component in an animation...i.e. State 1/scene 1, State 2, scene 2...?
I have not found a way of changing states and scenes together but it could be possible. Someone else might know.
