Marissa's guitar playing reminds me of Dinosaur Jr.'s stuff. Her playing is so melodic, clever and technical. I like that her live show guitar playing doesn't sound muddied or sloppy at all. You can tell she practices a lot. I just absolutely love all the creativity she brings to her guitar solos. I really don't know how she comes up with all of it. For the record I think whole band is great and brings a lot of energy to the stage.
I always thought their first couple albums were “unrefined” (and I do not mean that as a negative at all) to an extent, and understandably so considering the DIY nature and age of the band at the time. And of course, I loved the albums for that. This performance is outstanding. And I love the quality of the video/recording is top notch. The cell phone amateur recordings give SF a certain charm but I hope there are more top quality recordings. This band needs to be documented properly while they are in their “prime”.
It hasn’t; been long since the breakup but I miss their shows. So glad I made the effort to see them 30 or so times
one of the world's greatest guitarists, and a could-be greatest vocalist !

A long time admirer of this band and their styles. 💜🖤 So cool to see this.
Rock love it 5stars
This is so much better in pacing, maturity and audio quality than the album version.
Wowww
Or as Spotify calls it, Foul Moth.
it's hendrix > corgan > paternoster!!!
WTF is B. Corgan? He sucks! Marissa is unique, just like Hendrix.
@@danieljk6425 Marissa has said she loved Smashing Pumpkins and partly learned to play guitar from a SP tabs book.
@@eliberdinner4808 It's my opinion, nothing more. I like SP, I just can't tolerate BC's attitude, plus the attitude he had with D'arcy Wretzky.
If I was a MLB pitcher, this would be my walk from the bullpen song
Fuck me, they should just do a sludge metal album
It's Foul Moth
Nah, spotify got it fucked up
On the right track , but not enough creshendo . I need more give me a guitar solo like " Because the Night" !
Edward Snowden on the drums.
