In particular, really glad you took the time to clean the heater box and pitch the old heater core-those are a pain when everything is installed. Keep up the good work and thank you for your time.

Very impressed Ryan. The interior, especially the dash, is what we see more than anything else. It’s what we live with at the end of a project. How many interiors are left incomplete because the excitement of a project nearing completion/driving overtakes the need to get all the details complete. I predict you’ll enjoy just sitting in the car and looking around the interior, nearly as much as you will enjoy driving it. Two big 👍👍
Guilty...I'm glad you took my advice on the dash (20:50)... They make a "seal kit" for that HVAC box... When you're done, take a can of Lysol and spray it into the plenum intake ahead of your trouble light at 17:15, and as someone is spraying, move and cycle all of the doors and HVAC controls in the dash. This is your insurance policy for anything you missed. Lysol kills mold, and mildew on contact, and 99% of household germs. Lube everything in the dash, last chance. I'm a retired Ford, Lincoln, Mercury technician and an enthusiast...
This is the way to do it. Just makes sense to get into every little crevasse and give it a good refresh. It's going to look that much more amazing when it's all said and done.
Ryan, your Z28 is going to be better than new when you complete it. I’m so glad you restored your vents! I was thinking “Ryan steam that carpet and it will lay down” and the next thing you said was “steamer”. You pay so much attention to detail and that’s great!

Panel bond a bolt that you grind the head thin on, in the two spots not used by the factory, along with two more metal tabs. I'm sure you can make them to match.
Nice!. I like that you stayed with the tan color. So many people switch to black, probably many because new panels are usually molded in black. I completely gutted my car, dash, seats carpet, all the panels, roof liner, etc. Dyed new parts to the factory green because its different and matches the tag. The latter isnt as important to me. Glad I didnt have all the nests that you did and my vents were pretty clean. Nice job!

Now the interior air quality will be perfect. Be sure and keep us informed on whether you are going to make the Columbus show in July. As previously mentioned, I live here and will definitely attend.
