This 2T22 sounds similar to the 3T22 here in Shelby, NC. And to think both sirens are tested on the same time on the first Saturday of each month! Nice recording!

They're basically the same sirens, especially if it is a 3 phase siren like this one. Only difference is the 3T22 has dampers that can open and close to different signals like fire (hi-lo) and pulse.

Hard to believe this thing survived the devastating fire they had back in '94 - fell in after the roof burned. Still running strong!

That fire station burned in early 1994 and was rebuilt. The roof burned and the siren fell through. There was a photo of fire all around it just prior to the roof cave. Wish I could find it.
