I actually started with Sims Bustin' Out and Sims 1 on PS2, I went back to play the Sims 1 on PC afterwards. I started when I was about 7 when Bustin Out came out and then not long after the Sims 2 came out so that was my real nostalgia.
OOOOOOOO Bustin Out was everything to me on PS2 I remember Mom was so funny definitely a throwback for sure. When sims 2 came it for sure was truly nostalgic
SpringSims agreed, I still play sims 2 all the time, it’s definitely my favourite in the franchise
Omg I started with sims 1 but I was so young and I wasn't allowed to play it but the sims 1 ps2 then sims bustin out omg the list goes on I always will be forever a sims fan😁
My dad got us the first game for Christmas YEARS ago! I loved it so much. Still playing to this day.
I actually started by playing Sims 1 with the vacation expansion pack back when my aunt let me played on her computer and it was so much fun for me. I still remember building this room full with arcade stuff like arcade machines, pinball machines, etc. And choosing a wallpaper that was meant for the interior as my house's exterior.
The first time I heard of the sims it was about 9 years ago, i had found a sims player online who had a story called "the orphanage" with the sims 2. I watched it non stop! But my first game was the sims 1, I had found a copy at goodwill in great condition! I played it non stop until I found the sims 2 at my local good will in yet again, great condition. I played both games, getting the occasional expansion pack at my local goodwill, my first expansion was open for business with Ikea stuff and H&M. Then when the sims 3 came out I had gift in it for my birthday, and over the years got generations and supernatural, i LOVED the sims 3! When Origin came out with The sims 2 ultimate collection I snatched that right up! And i have been playing ever since! I do not currently own the sims 4, but hoping to get it soon. But I love the franchise, i love the community, and i love the Sims!
Just installed Sims 1 fullcollection and wanted to see what a pro can do in this game! I loved your story :D Played this game when I was like 8. I am 27 now. I still got the original CD and Case of the Deluxe Edition. I dont remember much but being baffled by the getting a baby and also dying animation. I also remember finding about cheat codes and buying everything I ever wanted :D

Hey! I want to say that I love the fact that you still play with ALL the games of the Sims (1, 2, 3 & 4) and I admire that :D! Now, to the juicy (?) story about my experience with the Sims: I was 6 or 7 years when one night, coming back home from work, my dad brought a game that one of his friend suggested he tried. Because I used to play the games my father played (Medal of Honor, Call of Duty, Age of Empire, Zoo Tycoon) I, of course, wanted to try out this game! He installed it on the computer and there it was. My firt love: THE SIMS. My father enjoyed very much playing with it and wanted for me to try it out! And after that, it's just history. I have been playing The Sims for 19 years and never got bored of it. It is my bubble of love, the utopia I wish we lived in: where everybody is equal and where (almost) everything is possible. That day, when I played the game for the first time, I was finally able to give life to the stories I always had in mind and my imagination just kept on growing ever since, thanks to this game. When life was difficult at home and at school, I created MY OWN family with MY OWN rules, in the Sims, and I loved them. Thanks to this game, I learned responsabilities, relationships and English (which I now study at Uni!). It's the place I go to to relax and feel at home, and more recently (like a couple years ago) I discovered that I shared this home with so many other amazing people, like you for example, and each day, I feel so much better just thinking that I am not alone in this world. Thanks to this game. (thank you so much for reading, and for the happiness you give me and to many others in your videos and streams. xo).

Started in 2000. I was 10. Unleashed and house party were my favourite expansion packs for the first game. I still play now - i’m 34😂
I have only played since sims 4! But I have loved it I see a really bright future for the sims! I started around the time when get together had come out, I wanted to get it after watching dan and Phil play it. I never thought I would be so obsessed with a video game until I started playing. I just now am getting better at building and creating sims thanks to watching speedbuilds from you, lilsimsie, Deli, and Semaj! Also I think I technically played some My Sims game on the Wii!
Oh really, I miss Dan and Phil playing the sims it was so much watching them play it. I didn't know I would be this obsessed either lol. I never played My Sims on Wii I forget it was a console game too. Also how did Legally Blonde go?
i've been playing for sims since the first packaga for 19 years too and so proud. my fav pack in ts1 is superstar because the process to gain fame and becoming celebrity more real than get famous now (sorry for my opinion). i love how complicated the townies relationships. honestly i really want to know about pleasant family than goth (because goth family still being canon).
oh by the way, now i'm an interior designer, thanks to this game to lead my future passionate profession.

My journey with the franchise started in 2002 at age 7 with the PC version over at a cousin's house. Since them, we began to fig into the franchise. I've played all 4 games on the PC, and preferred the Sims 2 the most (to which I still play). As for the console version games, I've played Bustin' Out, TS1, and Castaway.
Sims 3 - Xbox 360 is when i started and now im addicted to Sims 4 - Xbox one and PS4

I was 8 when the sims 1 was released and my cousin showed it to me. It was love and obsession at first sight, comfort and just losing sense of time for me since the beginning. I played The Sims 1 soo much, when TS2 was released I couldn't transition that easy. But then I fell in love with the possibilities of ts2 so I played until I was 17 or something. I left The sims for a while after that, couple of years maybe and I played TS3 for a bit, like a few months maybe, and it really was way better but not the same magic as TS2 for me.. Then I left the game for years and I downloaded Sims4 just a couple of years ago, and as much as I like it, I miss the possibilities of customizing neighborhoods like in TS2. So I decided to stay true to my love for Sims 2 and I'm playing ever since! I'm 28 now just for the record. P.S. I know about cc and mods now, so I'm all over 😂

I was introduced to the Sims in the 93’. I was in Freshman Journalism not really doing anything in class one day. I noticed one of my classmates messing around on the computer and went to see what they were doing. He was playing Sim City. I’d never seen it before and was immediately intrigued. I tried asking questions about it but he was real shady and vague about it. I now realize he’d hacked into his home computer to play from school and probably thought I’d snitch or some 💩. It was about 6 months to a year later that U actually got to play the game when my best friend and her sister got the game. We were constantly wreaking havoc on the cities with disasters, monsters and other stupid 💩. I’ve always been partial to that and Sims 2. For me the others just don’t compare 🤷🏻♀️.

The Sims was my first game, me and my cousins played together! So much fun, we never got the game ourself so we all met at our grandmothers house to play! hahahh! But for some reason we never got Hot Date either, because all of the adults thought it was sexually and too much for children. I was so annoyed, so I never got to play it, until the "complete collection" came out, then I bought it myself!
OMG that is so cool. Hot Date was a hot topic when it first came. I just discovered the woohoo bed in sims 1 and I was shook hahaha XD Sims 1 had it all for sure.

I'm 20 now and I've been playing sims since the age of like 6. I started with The Sims 1, and I had every single expansion and stuff pack from Magic Town to Superstar. Then I got The Sims 2 and had every pack from that version as well. The Sims 3 and 4 were and are just kind of wack. Even though the quality and smaller things have gotten better, I'm just missing a lot of elements that Sims 1 and 2 had. For some reason, on the Sims 4 I feel really restricted.
Sims 1 all the way. I loved it so much and still play it occasionally.

My first Sims was the first, I don't remember who my favorite was, maybe the little girl sounding like a grown woman in the vacation pack. My big bro's favorite was Bob Newbie.
My weirdest memory was us going to buy the celebrity pack, but a woman stole it right in front of the cashier and he didn't notice, and it was the last copy so we had to wait another week.
And the game wasn't translated until a few packs in, so we had to play it in English, and I wasn't good at English back then. So they never hugged as the word hug reminded me of the Norwegian word hugg (pronounced the same way more or less) which means chop, so I since I knew one could kill sims I was afraid choosing hug would make the sims chop each other up...
I knew where babies came from as the Norwegian children's author Anne-Cath. Vestly had a story where a kid's mother gets pregnant and then later gives birth. It was really controversial when it first came out and many wanted her to censor it.
The sims 1. I was on vacation at my aunts friends house in 2001. I played all 4 sims games but I prefer the sims 2. That’s the only one I play. I don’t like the whole unlocking neighborhoods.

Sims 1
I started playing sims because of my brother, he the PlayStation version of the sims 1 I think and I also had sims 2 on his computer and stole his disc copies and downloaded it probably in 2006 and played it all the time with my friends making ourselves and living our lives my brother eventually found out I stole his game and took it back only to give it back to me for Christmas he put it in an Xbox box so I thought that was what I got but it was his game with an expansion pack for it I didn’t even know that was a thing I was so excited to play, and to be honest I’m not really sure why I like to play it so much I’ve definitely picked my favorite franchise and that’s definitely the sims 2 I’ve played every sims since and I’ll have to say that the sims 3 was my baby for a long long time I loved the open world and horses but it was slow on my janky computer and the graphics of the sims are terrible in my opinion, but the color wheel and the open world with cars and stores that you could actually use is cool, the sims 4 is bland in my opinion, they have better graphics with the sims but literally is almost a complete copy of the sims 2 but you take out the emotions and add wants and fears, so I guess to answer why I like to play especially sims 2 is I get to have a sense of control but I get to control what they want which to me is a lot more fun than just doing what I wanna do because if I’m playing sims 4 I get sad if my sims die of old age because I try my hardest to have them be good at so many things and it’s hard in my opinion to have a legacy challenge on the sims 4 compared to the sims 2 because I’ll use a cow plant or a age potion to age them down and people on the neighborhood just die of old age and never repopulate unless I just haven’t played in a while and they patched it or something lmao thanks for the rant 😂😂
I played Sim bustin out on PlayStation 2 I start playing Sims 2 and then Sims 3 and now play Sims 4 and my cousin play The Sims and then my sister start playing it so we got on that but my favorite was the mom in Sims bustin out

That's a HUGE maybe for sims 1 just it can be difficult to manage sims in this version of the sims. Maybe I'll do a LP in the sims 2
I'm playing sims 1 complete collection these days, but here I see a lot of furniture that my game doesn't have. Why so? What expansion is this?
I have the complete collection too. But I when I was filming this In had custom content in my game and it's sometimes hard to know what custom content and what's not custom content in the sims 1.
