Positioning:* Are you on high ground / playing off angle? Close to trade / be traded by teammates? Do you have a fall back option if your position isn't safe? Are you in a position to help your team? Crosshair placements: If closer to the wall then enemy, peak with crosshair facing wall, letting your movement do the work. DONT preaim the wall if enemy is going to peak you. If playing a off angle, hold for wide peak, as enemies won't expect you, therefore they won't take the time to jiggle/ close peak. (depending on rank.) If playing a common angle, hold a tight angle, as enemies might jiggle / only want to expose themselves to a 1v1. movement: if enemy isn't looking at you, don't move between shots. only use 2 bullet bursts at long range timings: * Bad vs Good timings Good timing: Hearing an enemy -> waiting a couple seconds before swinging to maximize chances of winning gunfight due to unpredictability via timing Bad timing: Hearing an enemy -> peaking immediately to hopefully get a quick pick. Good timing: Peaking right after Phoenix flash or neon stun Bad timing: Taking too much time after flash or stun to peak, to the point where they can expect you again. To improve timing, always think your timing lost you a gunfight, instead of blaming it on the enemy having better aim. Eyes: It's better to focus on crosshair when aiming almost always. It's okay to look at the enemy when they in short distance to you. This will help consistency the most
focusing on the crosshair was my turning point, I had always focused on my targets and basically used my peripheral vision for my crosshair, when i swapped them around and started using my peripheral vision for targets and focused on crosshair i become much more consistent and better
I agree with this statement you say , for some weird reason pros and streamers say to focus on targets and not your crosshair. It might be preference for each individual really.
I kept wondering about this, so I thought, instead of guessing, why not just watch a pro play with an eye tracker? I eventually found some videos of n0thing (former cs pro) using eye tracker in some soloq games, and then it became clear for me. Bro was LASER focused on his crosshair and used peripheral for enemies. Only looking away at select times (for minimap mostly).
you vids are super informative , i’ve only started watching you recently but i can see that from your explanations i am improving and applying it easier because of those long explanations. looking forward to that positioning vid !! tysm for helping us
Here is a tip… focus on crosshair when you know where the enemy is gonna swing or come from. Focus on surrounding when you dont know where they are and when they just pop up…i lowk just rely on instinct to get my crosshair there.
Hey. Didn't play valorant for some time and last time I did I remember watching your one video and it helped me a lpt. So now after starting again I tried to get to your channel buy forgot your name and just searched "the immortal yapper valorant" And found you.. Hehehe. Love you bro. .. Your content is good. Keep up the work
I understand looking at the crosshair, but is this PC specific. Ive been playing val on console now and saw a vid saying focus on the enemy. Is console aiming different
My friend, could u recommend me an aiming routine? My peak is B2 (yeah yeah everyone has the right diss the heck out of me) and i struggle in a lot of things except decent crosshair placement and flicking (especially my tracking and holding angles need help cuz i 'fall asleep' when holding them). AimLab routine along with in-game aim things. Also, you are my favourite immortal yapper zapper.
Whenever I’m playing a little tired or lazy and realize I’m falling asleep at the angle I always try to unpeek and consciously pretend someone is pushing up to prepare myself for the repeek. Little screen jitters to keep your attention could also help but that’s what’s works for me
Quit tiktok, yt shorts, insta reels, or anything with the same idea. Trust me. They all 'train' ur brain to have a smaller attention span and when u take that out of ur life, focussing on anything is so much easier. I used to have the same issue as u and it helped me go from gold 1 to dia 3 almost asc in almost a month. I did originally quit tiktok for school bc i felt like i couldnt focus for more than a minute but not only did it help me in school but also in games lol
@@XenithAxe alr thats rly good. Another thing that worked for me was doing really short strafes with a and d in a way where u barely move. This worked for me bc when nothing is happening on the screen or if im doing nothing, i end up feeling super bored and lose patience so simply fiddling with my fingers on the a and d keys helps me stay focussed. This isnt the only benefit either. It also makes u a harder target to hit bc the person peeking will have peekers advantage so they will see u before u see them so when ur strafing they will have a hard time hitting u and then u can stop to shoot them. Make sure that the strafes are really short that u dont make a footstep noise which will reveal ur position. Goodluck
Not here to shit on the content. Thank you for the video. Just my own personal stance I dont agree. I could be wrong about my standpoint. I don’t agree because having a good understanding of your mechanics and time spent honing that skill is something everyone will have to spend time learning. Positioning is important but you could be in a god spot and not have the time spent to effectively control you mouse. To not go on forever,I do believe these tips are helpful although replacing game tips for lack of mechanics or even vis versa won’t make anyone better just lop sided
Trust me, remove the keybind for a while. You'll notice that you won't press it cause it just doesn't work. And if you want to still use it, put in on a key faaar away from your original one and something that you're not used a lot. The aim is to break your habit
Zoom when hes way further sometimes. If you are good u can use. It. For fun flicks crouching on the other. Side is a big no no but still it depends if u crouch peek crouch and spam or mainly. Crouch if u spam and crouch ur mostly dead bec in lower rank lobies people tend to put they're crosshair in the mid of peoples bodies so in my opinion do not crouch learn strafing counter strafing use one taps literally sometikes spray if hes literally bout to kiss you watch some videos im not a trainer im giving you an advice from my personal experience you'll learn from your own experience 😊
Na bro the only real aim relatet thing was the last point. Positioning and Timing have no effect to your aim. They help u to get better chances on gunfights but its not about aim. I think the Title should be "How to win more gunfights" or smth like that. And yeah many pros have high Aimtrainer scores.
thats bs, showing clips of pure raw aim skills and saying that "its easy for them" only to start yapping about how raw aim is not the only thing is fucking bad man xD. Whats the reason of showing actual RAW AIM clips only to talk about how raw aim is not the only thing and aim training is not needed?

same because when you aim with peripherals, youre leaving your aim to what you think youre hitting(which might end up being their body)
Rank??

Positioning, Pre Aiming and Crosshair placement, Movement, Timings All four of these Make up the 5th step which is all of them combined
looking at your crosshair instead of your target really is a cheatcode ive been so many high scores doing that

Hey what is your sensi and dpi?
Generally is phantom or vandal better
