Did you update the internal seals on the input shafts? It looks like they may have been leaking and could have caused the failure of the shift fork by allowing too much clutch dust to collect and prevent it from moving freely.
Hey man, thanks for these videos! I went to clean my B clutch fork and, like a dumb shit, fell backwards when spinning it and let it slam, breaking that bearing that has the female connection for the actuator. Is it possible to replace that one part/retainer without having to replace the entire clutch fork?
Should the center shaft move when spinning the clutch ? Because I put a new clutch and it doesn't but when it had the old one it did. Did I do something wrong?
Yeah, it starts creating a shuddering feeling and that's the clutch just breaking loose. It's almost the same thing for a cvt transmission, it starts shuddering and it's because the band is starting to get loose, and it grips and loses grip.
Good question! You might need to relearn with a scanner, if not just drive until the transmission relearns on its own. It sometimes takes time and more throttle than usually, but it'll be okay if it was installed correctly.
Hello, I need a dual clutch replacement for my 2012 Ford Focus. Some mechanics are saying $3300+. Yesterday I ran into a mechanic that says I will replace the whole transmission for less than $3000. Forgive me in advance for the dumb question, but I know nothing about cars, will replacing the transmission completely fix the clutch problem?
Hey I've been dealing with this issue for a long time and it has been getting worse recently. Probably a very dumb question but neglecting this issue will ultimately lead to the clutch failing is that right? For reference. I've had my car for well over 5 years however the shudder is now more often but on a good day won't give me any issues. Is it fair to say my car will eventually leave me stranded? Thanks
it usually happens half of that but be sure to go the full 13 turns. If you rewatch the video, you can hear it when he is about half way during the sped up process.
There is a special tool (you can purchase online) and procedure you have to follow. I think the dealer doesn't charge too much to get it reset. Maybe a transmission shop has a tool, but once you get it done, make sure they did reset it.

Great video! I was wondering if it is normal for the clutch to pop up after unlocking it?

Did it turn out ok?
Where is your workshop ?
Great information, thanks! Can you advise how to diagnose a bad clutch?
Yeah, it starts creating a shuddering feeling and that's the clutch just breaking loose. It's almost the same thing for a cvt transmission, it starts shuddering and it's because the band is starting to get loose, and it grips and loses grip.
Do you have a clutch reset video?
Sorry I don't, I fell off but coming back to making more videos.
Question after the clucht replacement do you will need a ecm transmission relearn? Or just swapped the clucht will fix the issue?

@@houseofteks7474 ok cool thanks
How do you know if it’s reset, I can turn it 14 times as it said in other videos and all it does is get harder to turn
Well, are you reusing the dual clutch or installing a new one? If its a used one, you must reset the dual clutch before installing it.
Hey I'm in the need of a lot of help, how do I remove the transmission?

No
I have at 2011 Ford fiesta and they have the dual clutch and somebody tell me they cost 5,000 dollars cant you tell me how much they cost yo fixing
I would say around $3,000 at most.
is this an automatic ford focus or a manual?
Automatic Transmission with Dual Clutch instead of a regular torque converter that you'd normally see.

Lo soluciono? Aún arreglado sigue teniendo problema?
Hello how much should I pay for a clutch replacement?
It all depends on what vehicle. But it says about 7.5 hours, so you can calculate depending on how much a shop charges per hour.

Yes, more than likely it will soon leave you stranded. I would get it check out or check it out. It could be as simple as a bad clutch actuator motor.
I didnt hear a click after 14 turns?

Yeah it normally clicks before but good to go all the way just to make sure incase you missed one.
