- Disclaimer: this strategy is highly ANNOYING to your opponents. Be prepared to get majorly cursed out and accused of being cheesey. 10/10 cheese factor guaranteed!
Overview: Wait for the counter to go down, then dump all your minerals/gas to your partner so that he may climb the tech tree to annihilate your opponents! This strategy works best in 2v2 scenarios where most of the time people tend not to rush as often as in a 3v3 or 4v4 match.
Protoss - Void Rays/Dark Templar Rush
Zerg - Muta Rush
Terran - Banshee Rush (though not as good as Mutas or Void Rays)
The best combination for this strategy is to pick Zerg as your primary race while your ally chooses Protoss. Early void rays can spill disaster for the opposing team (especially if they have no air defense). The reason being is because Zergs can pump out drones and gather minerals at a much quicker rate than any other race in the beginning. The whole purpose of this build is to pump high level units as quickly as possible leaving the enemy confused as to how this was even accomplished. You'll leave them wondering, "How in the world did they get 9 Void Rays with speed upgrade out that fast while I only have 20 zerglings?" They'll never know what hit them!
Tip: The ally that "feeds" must defend the ally that techs. Most defenses don't require any gas so be sure to mass lvl 1 units as much as you can (zealots/zerglings/marines). In most cases, the guy that techs only needs gas anyway, so you should have plenty of minerals to fortify your team's defenses. - เกม
Mass Marines do pretty well against them too. Especially when combined with medivacs and stimpacks.
