She's young & its not easy to have a camera in your face & exposing your life to thousands.. She's probably nervous & trying to put her best foot fwd.. Yes , she laughs often .. Is that such a bad thing ? Not sure their relationship , but they're obviously together & enjoy each other... So , get to know her before you threaten to "unsubscribe"... It’s an odd range of thoughts and feelings on seeing these style and programming changes. I feel I’ve been blessed by so very many hours of pure gold from Tim. I am owed nothing and lucky for the entertainment I’ve had. Also, I’d sooner see this vlog/channel turn unwatchable for me and know that Timmy is happier and growing in great directions, than see the vlog stay the same but know that Tim is missing out on feeling fulfilled. That said, it’s hard, not being spoiled by so many hours of such great and for me ideal program. So I find myself really hoping a happy medium is struck and it all gets figured out and balanced out to where I am enjoying what I’m seeing. That also said, the first 10 minutes of this is absolutely unwatchable for a crabby 50-year-old committedly single dude who just works and works and also works and escapes through Tim’s truck cabin adventures. So, I understand where the feelings of surprise at dissatisfaction come from but any real complaining just seems absurd in the face of a deer, deer couples happiness
I think she's great! With all the negativity and environmental disasters happening in the world today, I think it's wonderful to hear someone laughing and enjoying life!!
I think people liked the channel for what it was. People don't like change especially with something as inconsequential as a youtube account that they were following. That said, never stay stagnant in life. Keep it moving. If anyone is pissed by this, they're not people you need to be hearing from anyway. She's really put together lol

I commented on a previous video about how she giggled a lot, thought it might be nervousness in a new environment. She did sooo much better in this video. Don’t mind the giggles this time as they weren’t non stop. Glad Timmy has someone that enjoys things he enjoys. She has a beautiful smile and she’s great with the camera so we are getting a totally different view and she did awesome with the skinning part (where I had to fast forward) so I pray they continue being together and giving us the beautiful landscapes and travels. I’ve never seen this side of Alaska on such a personal level. Thank you.
Maybe give her 4 or 5 videos before you start judging. It's going to take some adjustments for the videos to start really gelling. I, for one, am willing to give them both a while to get things smoothed out. Also, Tim said he lost the camera with all of *his* footage on it this time. Tim, as a long time follower I want to be positive about the new format, I just can't. Feels like you're holding back information that it would be polite to share, just so you get more views etc. I find that quite patronising. I want to like what you're doing but I can't watch some of it anymore, whereas I used to watch start to finish. Seems like I'm not the only one.

Glad you have a gal to do life with, but the hubby and I are having a difficult time hearing you now with your gal videoing…and the constant laughing is so awesome for you two BUT gets pretty annoying for the viewer as the spliced together video you do creates an end product that is just constant laughing and little dialogue/can’t hear you talking audio compilation. I recently started to watch your videos loyally a couple months ago, and I love them. I have seen your truck house in different parts of Alaska. When I see you and I'm with guests (I'm a tour director), I tell them this is the most authentic Alaska thing ever! Truly epic. As I watch this, I see how happy you are, it's giving peace. Nice to see a Timmy laugh and smile so much. I had a ferret for 7 years. He was my baby! Only caged him when I wasn't home for my piece of mind. He was trained to go into his cage to eat and go to the bathroom. Such a good boy and so fun!! His name was Gibber. He slept at my feet under the covers at night and if I moved to much he had a dresser drawer set up for him he would curl up in. My vet loved him. When he passed he donated a book to our local library on Ferret care with a plaque in the back cover in memory of him. So awesome for him to do.
Love the lodge, beautiful indeed. The people there are so nice. Same every year, not just working the lodge but they seem to love what they do, entertaining, welcoming, friends/family. Nice to see you go back there again and enjoy it immensely with great people.

Not sure what you mean. The snowmobiles were loaned to me for the winter for a crazy project I'm revealing next week. I've worked my tail off for everything I have- if you watch my videos you'd know. Drama is real, I don't fake anything on this channel, every breakdown you see happens and I have to deal with it. I try not to respond to negative messages, but trying to address some as of late.

Anyone who has watched your content knows the struggle and commitment you have maintained since moving there at such a young age. I don't think living off grid in van life for free moving it every night in Alaska is being spoiled and buying everything used, learning to fix it all yourself, build homes basically alone... People freak me out.
I went snow mobiling in the Black Hills of South Dakota many years ago .. They open the Neddles Highway for mobilers (not much else could travel that road in winter) and it was the most beautiful ride of my life... Every few miles they had warm up stations where you can take a break , drink hot beverages & refuel . Its not Alaska , but it was a trip I'll never forget.. My daughters were 13 & 15 and they had a blast .. My wife was overly cautious , so in turns I let my girls drive me on my sled .. We're southern folk , so snow mobiles were not common in my world.. But after that ride , I bought two sleds that were more fun than just about anything.. My daughters are grown & still live in the south , but they love the snow & have made many trips north to ride with their kiddo's .. I wanted to make another trip this winter , but my father's health has been failing , so hopefully next winter..

Hey Timmy!!!! I have something important for you to be AWARE OF. The radiator on the truck house. A radiator that is used for hundred thousands of miles really need to be inspected and maybe replaced. Considering the conditions where you drive you don’t want to get stuck out with a bad radiator. I had an 82 model f150 extended cab. And my radiator started leaking on one of the side tanks. And if I remember they had started making them plastic. Not the coil part or the center section. But the 2 side tanks. I had to have it rebuilt. So if your radiator has got that kind of mileage on it you may have it pressure tested if there is such a test. Or at least have it cleaned and checked by a professional radiator company. Not just a mechanic but someone who specializes in radiators. Take it from some who’s experienced a failure. And out in the middle of no where like Coldfoot there’s nothing to fix it but a wrecker to cost you an arm and a leg to get you somewhere to fix it. Ok big guy, I’m on my couch with my Jack Russell’s ready for more adventures from you. Be safe out there.

I am a 57 year old Jewish mother of three and real estate litigator living my whole adult life in Brooklyn in a Brownstone. I don’t even have a driver’s license! I wouldn’t know a Ford from Tesla. I can’t fix anything. I hate the cold. You could not pay me to attend Burning Man or ride a One Wheel. My life could not possibly be more different than Tim’s. Yet, I have watched every single video. Every one, right back to the beginning. Tim is engaging because he really, truly lives. He’s authentic. When he drove away from his dad’s magical cabin in the North Georgia mountains last time, with a tear in his eye, I wanted to chime in and say to him, “it’s time for you to make the next generation.” And as Tim was pounding every nail into that beautiful cabin of his, I kept thinking that someday somebody should watch this video and think to themselves… “That was my dad, building the house that I grew up in, in Alaska.” You know that line in the Big Lebowski, “sometimes there’s a man… He’s a man for his time…” Timmy is a man for his time. And I take comfort in knowing that Timmy abides. But the bottom line is, when you have a life as rich as Tim’s, it would be a tragedy not to abide along with someone. May G-d keep them safe, happy, and free.

I am resistant to change and preferred your channel with just you Tim. Nothing personally against your new lady friend and glad you both found happiness and each other! Im just not as into the content now. Ideally you could have some separation in presenting your former content and excluding your friend from being such a big part of ongoing story line? Like maybe it'd be better if you just see her out on trail occasionally and she waves but is mostly unidentifiable? You literally built your life solo and stoically struggled to create and she just shows up and is everywhere like it's her show now too. Just my two cents. Take care, be well & good luck!
I've listened to a lot of feedback, some of it was tough to take because people were personally offensive to someone I like. I have listened to people and I will do better at retaining my dialogue in videos.
Hey Timmy I was thinking with some creative planning you could make a shower on the porch where you quickly hang a curtain up around it somehow on some hooks and have a handheld shower head and bingo got a shower. You just need to make a little room for a water reserve. Especially if you are pulling your trailer bed. And an instant water heater like you put under the sink somewhere. I bet with a little creative planning and research it could be done. I know you have a shower provision already with the solar bag but being able to shower on the porch and then go right in the house to dress would be convenient. U gotta remember I’m an architectural designer and luxury home builder so I find solutions and am creative. Like yourself. You could let the water just drain thru the floor boards or carry a makeshift floor pan with a drain provision. You don’t need much room. And if you spray scotch guard on everything around the area that could potentially get wet or damaged it will just bead off and blow off while driving even. Now you have her with you she may appreciate the option. But only you know if you have enough room. That’s why a handheld spray head may be ergonomic for the job.

I think people liked the channel for what it was. People don't like change especially with something as inconsequential as a youtube account that they were following. That said, never stay stagnant in life. Keep it moving. If anyone is pissed by this, they're not people you need to be hearing from anyway. She's really put together lol

I commented on a previous video about how she giggled a lot, thought it might be nervousness in a new environment. She did sooo much better in this video. Don’t mind the giggles this time as they weren’t non stop. Glad Timmy has someone that enjoys things he enjoys. She has a beautiful smile and she’s great with the camera so we are getting a totally different view and she did awesome with the skinning part (where I had to fast forward) so I pray they continue being together and giving us the beautiful landscapes and travels. I’ve never seen this side of Alaska on such a personal level. Thank you.

Maybe give her 4 or 5 videos before you start judging. It's going to take some adjustments for the videos to start really gelling. I, for one, am willing to give them both a while to get things smoothed out. Also, Tim said he lost the camera with all of *his* footage on it this time. So he only had everything off of her camera to work with.

Tim, as a long time follower I want to be positive about the new format, I just can't. Feels like you're holding back information that it would be polite to share, just so you get more views etc. I find that quite patronising. I want to like what you're doing but I can't watch some of it anymore, whereas I used to watch start to finish. Seems like I'm not the only one.

I don't like the new content, I don't care for this girl who never stops laughing. and to keeping her identity such a top secret is ridiculous when she is displayed prominently in these videos. when these influencers get popular, things always change and not for the better. I am done with this channel.

Nice to see a Timmy laugh and smile so much. I had a ferret for 7 years. He was my baby! Only caged him when I wasn't home for my piece of mind. He was trained to go into his cage to eat and go to the bathroom. Such a good boy and so fun!! His name was Gibber. He slept at my feet under the covers at night and if I moved to much he had a dresser drawer set up for him he would curl up in. My vet loved him. When he passed he donated a book to our local library on Ferret care with a plaque in the back cover in memory of him. So awesome for him to do.

Not sure what you mean. The snowmobiles were loaned to me for the winter for a crazy project I'm revealing next week. I've worked my tail off for everything I have- if you watch my videos you'd know. Drama is real, I don't fake anything on this channel, every breakdown you see happens and I have to deal with it. I try not to respond to negative messages, but trying to address some as of late.

Anyone who has watched your content knows the struggle and commitment you have maintained since moving there at such a young age. I don't think living off grid in van life for free moving it every night in Alaska is being spoiled and buying everything used, learning to fix it all yourself, build homes basically alone... People freak me out.

I went snow mobiling in the Black Hills of South Dakota many years ago ..
They open the Neddles Highway for mobilers (not much else could travel that road in winter) and it was the most beautiful ride of my life...
Every few miles they had warm up stations where you can take a break , drink hot beverages & refuel .
Its not Alaska , but it was a trip I'll never forget..
My daughters were 13 & 15 and they had a blast ..
My wife was overly cautious , so in turns I let my girls drive me on my sled ..
We're southern folk , so snow mobiles were not common in my world..
But after that ride , I bought two sleds that were more fun than just about anything..
My daughters are grown & still live in the south , but they love the snow & have made many trips north to ride with their kiddo's ..
I wanted to make another trip this winter , but my father's health has been failing , so hopefully next winter..

Hey Timmy!!!! I have something important for you to be AWARE OF. The radiator on the truck house. A radiator that is used for hundred thousands of miles really need to be inspected and maybe replaced. Considering the conditions where you drive you don’t want to get stuck out with a bad radiator. I had an 82 model f150 extended cab. And my radiator started leaking on one of the side tanks. And if I remember they had started making them plastic. Not the coil part or the center section. But the 2 side tanks. I had to have it rebuilt. So if your radiator has got that kind of mileage on it you may have it pressure tested if there is such a test. Or at least have it cleaned and checked by a professional radiator company. Not just a mechanic but someone who specializes in radiators. Take it from some who’s experienced a failure. And out in the middle of no where like Coldfoot there’s nothing to fix it but a wrecker to cost you an arm and a leg to get you somewhere to fix it. Ok big guy, I’m on my couch with my Jack Russell’s ready for more adventures from you. Be safe out there.

I am a 57 year old Jewish mother of three and real estate litigator living my whole adult life in Brooklyn in a Brownstone. I don’t even have a driver’s license! I wouldn’t know a Ford from Tesla. I can’t fix anything. I hate the cold. You could not pay me to attend Burning Man or ride a One Wheel. My life could not possibly be more different than Tim’s. Yet, I have watched every single video. Every one, right back to the beginning.
Tim is engaging because he really, truly lives. He’s authentic.
When he drove away from his dad’s magical cabin in the North Georgia mountains last time, with a tear in his eye, I wanted to chime in and say to him, “it’s time for you to make the next generation.” And as Tim was pounding every nail into that beautiful cabin of his, I kept thinking that someday somebody should watch this video and think to themselves… “That was my dad, building the house that I grew up in, in Alaska.”
You know that line in the Big Lebowski, “sometimes there’s a man… He’s a man for his time…” Timmy is a man for his time. And I take comfort in knowing that Timmy abides. But the bottom line is, when you have a life as rich as Tim’s, it would be a tragedy not to abide along with someone.

I've listened to a lot of feedback, some of it was tough to take because people were personally offensive to someone I like. I have listened to people and I will do better at retaining my dialogue in videos.
Hey Timmy I was thinking with some creative planning you could make a shower on the porch where you quickly hang a curtain up around it somehow on some hooks and have a handheld shower head and bingo got a shower. You just need to make a little room for a water reserve. Especially if you are pulling your trailer bed. And an instant water heater like you put under the sink somewhere. I bet with a little creative planning and research it could be done. I know you have a shower provision already with the solar bag but being able to shower on the porch and then go right in the house to dress would be convenient. U gotta remember I’m an architectural designer and luxury home builder so I find solutions and am creative. Like yourself. You could let the water just drain thru the floor boards or carry a makeshift floor pan with a drain provision.
You don’t need much room. And if you spray scotch guard on everything around the area that could potentially get wet or damaged it will just bead off and blow off while driving even. Now you have her with you she may appreciate the option. But only you know if you have enough room. That’s why a handheld spray head may be ergonomic for the job.
