I was a boy in the early 80's and family had Christian tv shows on the tv. Preachers were preaching against "new age" way back then. So its NOT unknown to the church!

You are my pastor, I no longer attend a building, they don't teach current events or prophecy, it's sad. A lot of fakes, and I like the way to tell the truth. God bless you.
My family believes there can't be a fake church since David Koresh and Jim Jones are dead now. No one left to deceive anyone except for those that use the Bible as their authority. No way CCM artists could deceive since they say Jesus in a song here and there. Show them scripture and they call it of the Devil but they are Christian?! Man people are just about braindead.
Shutter Bug, Don't let satan isolate you as he did me. I believed the same thing for a long time. I didn't go to Churches thinking I could survive 'elo solo' and just listen to sermons online. God tells us specifically in His Word,, in Hebrews 10:24,25, "And let us consider how to spur one another on to love and good deeds. 25 Let us not neglect meeting together, as some have made a habit, but let us encourage one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching." Do we follow only parts of the Bible that suit us? No. Ask God to put you in contact with some other Christians whether it be a Bible study or some type of fellowship. You cannot be an island unto yourself. And if you don't like one Church, go to another, then another until you find a body of believers that study the Bible and follow it and the Holy Spirit. All the best to you in your search. I am still searching but learning lots along the way. God bless xo

However, Enoch did not like deali g with others and found it contrary to deal with the other humans. He spent most of his years a hermit and he was not, for the Lord took him. Solitude can be better for some than others. Much chaos in dealing with others is distracting sometimes!

Charles Lawson is an excellent preacher and I have watched *many* of his sermons and bible study videos. But I have one question: Why does he see/encounter so many spirits and demons? He's always saying he had to tell this spirit off and he woke up in the middle of the night and saw a demon by his bed and had to run it off, etc.

I came in from Church last week and turned on the computer, went to you tube, and found Bro. Lawson. Do it all the time as I don't watch TV, sports, news, or anything on TV.
Have literally seen thousands of his preaching videos, I told my wife I was just going to start sending our tithes to Temple Baptist. just joking, but after some of the services in these sorry churches where I live, It has crossed my mind.
Some of you guys that know Bro. Lawson personally, please tell him thank you for me.
Also tell him thanks for dressing appropriately for God's sacred desk, the pulpit. Many "pastors" we have here, wear blue jeans with holes in them and tennis shoes.
How a pastor dresses speaks volumes of whether he actually fears and honors the Lord or not.

It is my Biblical understanding that we truly are living in the 'latter days' before the 'pre-tribulation Rapture' of "the church" that was Prophetically written about more than 2,500 years ago:

Elizabeth Ashby he is the express image of God but an image is a visual expression. I Prefer to say what Peter said when Christ asked him and who do you say that I am? Peter responded to Yeshua you are the only begotten son of the living God. Jesus or Yeshua is at the right hand of God the father interceding and mediating for us as our eternal high priest. Paul gives us a plain and easy to understand explanation in 1st Corinthians.

We have one God! The God and father of Yeshua is our God and father as we become joint heirs with Christ. Correct? Christ has become a stumbling block to many because of the oneness doctrine.
Christ has all authority. He is the only way to God the father. God is no respecter of men for all have sinned and fallen short that's why he sent his son. No one stands before God until they have kneeled before Christ. You come into the presence of God without so much as a spot or blemish clothed in the righteousness of Christ.
I've just never understood why people just say Jesus is God instead of saying Jesus is Lord. Lord denoting one with authority.
Elizabeth Ashby I do understand why some are reluctant to say Jesus is Lord considering the literal Hebrew equivalent to the word lord but in English it denotes a position of authority.

No one was complaining about anything. There we’re a lot of sick people needing prayer and support and he shamed us. I was done after that.
Most preaches won't even touch on the topics he does, either because they don't know about some of it, are mixed up in some or all of it, or afraid of offending anybody except God...I am so glad I came across him and I don't remember exactly how it happened...but I'm glad it did...

I fell for her because she focused on helping our children in our schools before the age of 8, "They" are after our children in an insidious way! Have you noticed that the 'filthy peace symbol' is becoming much more common again? Very unfortunately there are some adults, and a lot of young adults and children that are 'church goers' that are wearing and carrying all sorts of 'stuff' with 'peace symbols'.
Patrick- actually Lawson speaks of John MacArthur @31.55. Billy Graham is not in California, nor is he what a fundamentalist preacher like Lawson views as a "good expositor of the Scriptures". MacArthur has not compromised on the Gospel or salvation issues, and surely would not work directly with New Age activists (he regularly preaches against them) but may be linked to "neo-Calvinists" who are less willing to separate from non-Christian teachers.
Jonathan Kuperberg I heard MacArthur say that if one takes the mark of the beast, that, it is still possible to go to heaven. So did Jimmy DeYoung.

The word "JEHOVAH" is written 2 times in "the word of the LORD" ~ Exodus 6:3 | Psalm 83:18 [AV]
The words "the LORD JEHOVAH" are written 2 times in "the word of the LORD" ~ Isaiah 12:2 - 26:4 [AV]
The following words written in "the scripture of truth" have been a great comfort to me during the brief illness of my wife of 40+ years - her physical death when she 'went home to Glory' - and the 3+ years since then:

All the churches in my area are compromised { seeker friendly} preaching another Jesus. They flock together to worship a redefined Jesus. They don't preach from the Bible. They preach against it! { hath God really said?} You have to go to the internet to find good bible teachers and preachers. With the Lords help you will find them and rejoice!
yeah, even the 70s was included in this age. The laodecian church age that were in, but the bride of God, I see the rapture of the church very soon.

They always say the "peace symbol" means or stands for No Nukes or some garbage like that to pass on for public consumption. I would look at it and study that symbol for years when I'd see it and I couldn't see it meaning that but I also never could put my finger on what it actually stood for either.
Then I got saved last year and started listening to preachers including Bro. C. Lawson in this sermon and they all mention that it's a broken upside down cross and part of the New Age Movement and it makes perfect sense now. That's *exactly* what that symbol is and it's a very wicked symbol also.
When you get saved, the Holy Spirit will open your eyes to everything!!
