Sorry for the delays everyone! I had some IRL issues to deal with and a lot of work to catch up at my job, but I'm back and I have 9 episodes done and uploading as I type this. Very much enjoying this game sized mod.
Regarding your speculation on British pound coins, the 1 and 2 pound currency is pretty much entirely coins, while the larger denominations (5s, 10s, 20s) are paper notes.
The British 1 pound coin has been in circulation since the 80s. Only the larger denominations notes are in paper. Same thing in Australia - we've had a $1 and $2 coin for a long time now and we are now using plastic notes for $5, $10, $20, $50, $100
Dollar coins are totally not just a collector thing and can be redeemed from most any bank. They can also be found in many vending machines as change. Especially newer ones.
Hey Wander. I was watching another person play Fallout London and they found some armor far better than what you are using. Bromley Police Station has some good items that might be worth checking out. The are scattered around the building, so minor scavenger hunt is involved.
"A person who is constantly smiling at you is probably not right in the head" Back when I was in college, decades ago now, there were some american exchange students at my dorm. Incidentally, they were some of the first americans I met. One of the girls had this habit of throwing up a _big_ smile every time someone talked to her. She would try to keep the smile up through the whole conversation, but there's only so much strain you can put on those muscles in the face before they give up. Her smile usually drooped into a weird grimace within a couple of minutes, making her look as if she considered biting you in the throat. Aside from that, I don't remember there being anything wrong with her :-D
I love pizza, but today I had chicken tacos, so I'm for once _not_ craving pizza. Speaking of food, when you visited the burger bar at about 37:00 the right-most cartoon character on the wall was a Beefeater, with their distinct historical uniform. Something tells me that the Beefeaters you'll encounter in the game aren't going to be quite as jolly as the cartoon character. Also, Ion Brew is probably a soft drink, kind of like a UK equivalent of Nuka Cola.
"Report a controversial book" In my opinion, a good library contains something to offend everyone. Maybe whoever decided to introduce _Librarian Protectrons_ would disagree.
I got curious and looked up what a conker is, and apparently it's one name for the seed of the horse chestnut. IRL, those are _not_ edible because of a fair amount of saponins and other non-food substances. They have even been used to stun fish >_> Proper chestnuts are of course edible, but maybe these conkers have mutated and become non-toxic?
In regards to Johnny Shrapnel, I'd be mostly worried about bumping the piece of shrapnel on something, which could either take a chip out of my skull or push it further in. Either way, it's enormously stupid to leave it in. He's just one bump away from winning a Darwin Award.
Spoiler ahead: check south part of map you can clearly see airfield strip line there might be settlement wont tell more just that it maybe quest locked.
I guess that'd be a pain to carry around but... most people just use debit/credit now anyway, right? Or maybe the pound coin wouldn't be so bad? I'm thinking of the rather large and heavy American style dollar coins, but then again people regularly carry a bunch of nickels, dimes, quarters etc, so if the pound coin is close to those in size it wouldn't be so bad.

Banned book key is the sink of bathroom that had the ghoul in the library.

The book is underneath a box in that second area right on the bookshelf up the ramp
I still think you should watch Lock, Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels as well as Snatch. You met the Vagabonds and I most certainly recommended it again.
Fun films, but they are escapist fantasy for men with desk jobs.
The moment Yvette starts giggling madly and asking about "IN-sure-ANCE", I'd run.
so focused in on handcuffs that you missed the safe in the wall
I was yelling at him "its a safe !!!". Of course he didn't hear me.
TH-camr blindnes is such a common thing i notice these days
it's good that you skipped The Hound -- there's a "combat coaster" in there that's bugged and cuts all your damage in half.

1:07:33 - There's a safe behind the smashed terminal.

The pound note was replaced by the coin in 1983 and stopped being legal tender in 1988
