My New AMG G63 is Being TRANSFORMED!

- It's time to transform my brand new AMG G63! Straight from collecting the Mercedes G Wagon we're cracking on with the colour change with Topaz Skin. Not only that, with Omaze you could win a G63 plus $20,000 cash while supporting a good cause: bit.ly/You-AMG-G63-Shmee
The plan all along has been to replicate the colour scheme of my McLaren Senna onto the G63, which is ordered in a sensible overall specification but will eventually be used to actually tow the Senna. This means the body will be paint matched to the MSO Cerulean Blue with satin navy blue accents for the secondary parts of the body, all being done with the new Topaz Skin - a peelable removable painted protective coating. Think of it like a sprayable form of PPF with the bonus of including a fully painted colour layer with the finished appearance of a complete paint job.
Upon arrival at Topaz Detailing, we can catch up with Nabil for an update on the facility and a full explanation of how this works and what's happening next. In addition we created the paint samples live to determine how we're going to be proceeding to get the car spot on. Not only that but they also have a Bugatti EB110 with Topaz Skin painted in the metallic of the Lamborghini Diablo SE30 - an epic colour!

The building wasnt created just for it. It is a detailing facility, the best in the business, and they just built a spray booth and added the Topaz Skin to their list of services.

1:40 I don't think thats a Maybach model, it's the S63.
It has chrome all over the body.
It's a S 65
@@jasonandrsen I'm pretty sure the S65 has chrome mesh grilles too on the air intakes which this does not. So I think this is a S63 (you can get the chrome lines around the bumper on the S63 too).

I hope that you will also give the accompanying future trailer the same attention. It is surprising how cool a tow vehicle + trailer can look if they share the same colouring and wheel design. The wheels may prove difficult in this case, but I'm sure you will know of someone somewhere who can replicate the G63 wheel design in the appropriate size for the trailer.

Not really a small company considering theyre one of the best in the world, but you are right about taking it apart. No car will ever go back together as it did from factory, no matter what anyone says.
If there is anything I’m not sure about, it’s the navy blue arches you mentioned. Not sure how it’ll look🤨bold I guess! It may work though.

That's going to be fantastic! I'm incredibly jealous that you're local to Topaz. I'd hoped to get Topaz Skin done on my new Portofino when it's delivered, but I just found out that Ferrari won't let you pick up from the factory in Italy anymore, so I'd have to have it shipped to the US, then shipped to the UK for Topaz, and back. UGH!!

So it is thick PPF with a paint layer on top. Which actually is a great idea to get better protection than a wrap and a much better paint quality.
Hopefully you get proper off-road tires. For the Jimney and G wagon to be powerful off road car
