the reason why I got into watching you was the profundity of your content. "...our greatest weakness is also our greatest strength." wow. I never really got into Jane Austen, reading only a single book (which I enjoyed so completely). Now I find myself in that state of what might be categorized as FOMO...only realized. The drawing is perfect because it is what it is meant to be. I'll be sad when I eventually watch all your videos.
Happy New Year, Meaghan! You nailed the expression on the lady's face . I could feel her pain. It was so deep. I wish you well as you adapt to your new space.
Gorgeous sketch! I can’t wait to see the final painting. I love that you are finding a way to keep your love of art and literature as part of your daily life and how you support yourself. I also love the insights you bring to the videos and as a fellow introvert and artist that loves books I relate a lot to you. I’m reading Northanger Abbey by Austen right now, but Persuasion is on my list! All the best to you in your next step and congrats for taking a risk! ❤
Look forward to seeing your work in the new place. You've captured a great expression there. Are you influence by Virginia Woolf's characters at all? There's something of Lily Briscoe from 'To the Lighthouse' in that face too, I think.
I'm not too much of a modernist so I can't say I've read much of Woolf, but there is a beautiful prose/poem story called "Haunted House" that I absolutely love. I can see she has a way of expressing emotions!

I appreciate your thoughtful and insightful comments, thank you! And I'll always be making more videos, art and stories!
@@MeaghanMarieArt with gratitude, may it be so.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate that :) I hope you enjoy North Anger Abbey; Henry Tilney is one of my favorite characters!
He is my favorite in this novel as well.
Great stuff Meaghan!!
Thanks, Johnny, I appreciate it!
