- HUSQVARNA TREK 2024 - South Coast is the 5th time Husqvarna Motorcycles Australia have hosted an event like this.
This is the first time I've done the event and after some deliberation decided to take the Husqvarna 701 Enduro and not the Norden 901. I'm glad I did.

As a fellow trekker I loved that. The parts I liked the most was how you conveyed the weather conditions (was a touch blowy), and I really liked the way you took the path off the main route to do your own exploring. Well done.
Thanks mate. Hard to convey on video the track conditions. There was some good riding.
Challenging! Burt what an adventure Steve! Looked alike a really good time, especially with the ability to go exploring a bit.
Last year's Ute trip we went down the Divide to camp on the Coast in a massive NP on the Vic/NSW Border and explored the coast on the way back - found a whole new lifetimes worth of places to explore, it's great country!
I dream of the day where I can again load the bike into a van and travel and stop to explore this amazing country.
@@BigBikeAdventures I remember when you started that last time... some sorta global panic got in the way... 🙄
Great footage cobber, you covered some good places is all literally in my backyard 👍 saw a fair few huskys getting around the other week cheers all the best mate
Thanks mate, it’s a great part of the country. There’s some good riding in there.
Ohhhh, I’m a bit jealous again. Awesome looking ride/rally Steve. Your 701 Looks great as well. You modded it nicely!
Sorry I’m a bit late but had a funeral and a birthday last week. Talk about Hakuna Matata aye?
Thanks for taking us along Steve!
Hey mate. Thanks for dropping in. Life goes around eh!! Just keeps on rolling. Stay well.
I’m booked on the Spain Husky trek ..just 60sleeps to go ! 😂❤❤❤
You will love it.
The preview looked amazing.
You didn’t die! Excellent 🥳
Always a good out come.
7m10s, I know how steep that trail is, it's one of my local loops. Lucky it was repaired recently, otherwise it would have been a choke point going up it. Was difficult to rode down it before!
Theres a fun route from KV to the coast thats an alternative to the mountain pass and dirt.
So steep they had to concrete it instead of continuous repair.
Great back yard you’ve got, I didn’t really have time to explore the KV region but expected there’s plenty of great tracks in the whole region if the Trek was anything to go by.
@@BigBikeAdventures yes KV has lota of gates. Best to head west or SE.
The hillclimb to the concrete is the repaired section.
Once you get to the coast, heading back into the range, there is years of exploration there, and relatively overlooked compared to the rest of the east coast of Australia when it comes to ADV.
11 minute mark is what it looked like about 6 or 7 months ago before the repair.

Wind is good for one thing, blowing dust away on group dirt rides and maybe Sailing or flying a kite.
100% 😂😂
Did you carry a fuel bladder
No need, longest run between fuel stops was 150k
I just have a tight arse question if you're always riding on your own what are you paying Husqvarna trek for just get the gpx files and do it yourself
Riding alone only because the group was spread out.
If you wanted to ride with others in the dust you could. It was reassuring knowing other riders and support crew on the tracks though.
Good stuff Steve, A nice mix of riding conditions (could see how steep some of it was) and amazing scenery, Awesome 👍 ps MM93 doing well 🏍
Thanks mate. MM93 still relevant, looking forward to seeing how he goes on the GP25
