Congrats! It's harder to even get a classic flap these days. I agree that without an SA, it's just so much harder to navigate the store especially when other SAs may be helping other clients. Sometimes it's also a hit or miss on who you come into contact with. I hope to get a classic flap one day too. I have a couple other classic pieces, but I always think about how often I'll use the medium classic flap because it may be more like a special occasion bag. But, never say never! :)

Thanks for watching! I find that the classic flap suits any outfit so I wear it more often then I thought, the only issue is that I think I would wear Caviar leather a bit more as I am super careful with lambskin. Still happy with my choice though :)

Congratulations. its so lovely. I love lambskin. My first Chanel bag in 2020 was vintage and in black lambskin too. Its 25 years plus now. Its in very good condition. i hope to buy a brand new one some day too. The other 2 i have are also preloved as Chanel is expensive:)

Very nice video! Wow your story is literally the same exact thing I just went through. Like exactly. Was going to only by pre-owned all the way bc of the better quality and materials they used to put. But then it is the experience and for it to be your first Chanel in the store would be nice to have. Congrats! I just pick up my Chanel classic flaps both in the medium and Jumbo size. Is it just me or does your classic flap also shows a bit of a crease line on the back of the bag where the flap opens towards the back part? I just hope it the SA didn't intentionally bend the flap all the way back to cause the crease before boxing it up for me?

So you don't need a purchase history at Chanel to get one? I'm slowly buying more and more expensive labels as time goes on and the Double Flap is also my dream bag. I don't want to have a purchase history to get like you do in Hermès, since I want to get a Double Flap at the end of September or beginning of October brand new.
Not that I don't plan to buy some beautiful suits, dresses and what not too one day too!

I think Chanel is becoming more like Hermes but you should still be able to get a Classic flap by contacting your store. They’ll put you on a waitlist and contact you once they’ve got one available.
