      I mean, especially if she still identified as a woman when they got married. Like, you think he needs to change his sexuality just because you changed after you got together? That's not how things work.
      Plus, as an aside, what woman wants her husband to be attracted to other people? Because if he says "yes, I'm attracted to non-binary people" that doesn't just apply to her. That's twisted.

      It's so sickeningly accurate.
      Like, all this shit that they're getting away with. The blatant lying, the malicious intentions, and the threats of violence (and sometimes actual violence), somehow, to them, isn't as bad as some dudes being let peacefully into a capitol building and then proceeding to take some pictures of them posing on desks and shit.
      And it's getting so prevalent everywhere, with almost everything. You can't misgender anyone or debate the merits of social norms, but you can go chant "gas the jews" in front of the Sydney opera house with thousands of other supposedly incredibly tolerant and morally justified people.
      It's especially ironic when these anti-semetic remarks are being pioneered by the people who'd call you a Nazi over just about anything, implying they know Nazi's were bad, but clearly not why.

    I am SO glad that my mom didn't accept my bs when I went to her saying I was "agender, nonbinary and genderfluid". Back then I was a very depressed autistic teen with OCD and no friends (important to have this in mind). I entered Twitter to post art, and in the process I interacted with a lot of queer folks, some of them even becoming my "friends".
    While that taught me to be more tolerant and accepting, I also started to question a lot my identity, when in the past I never even cared. I changed my pronouns and I deluded myself into thinking I had gender dysphoria (I never experienced it). From what I've heard, there's a lot of autistic people that often have issues regarding self identity, and those with OCD might be more prone to questioning too.
    In the end, my mom just shook her head, and then told my aunt who is a psychologist to have a talk with me. Conclusion? I was just a tomboy, a girl that didn't follow the typical gender construct, but I was still a girl and I loved being a girl.

    • @OLDCHEMIST1
      @OLDCHEMIST1 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      Very brave of you to accept you were wrong! As an older man, it worries me that younger and younger people are making potentially life-changing decisions on their sexuality, sexual orientation, etc. Having cared for people who were autistic, I feel for them as I can see they feel that they don't belong and struggle hard to be accepted. I think it is very worrying now that things that were considered to be possible mental health issues, such as gender reassignment are thought of as something that should be acted on at once, whereas in the past gender reassignment was a really big deal and people had to convince a psychiatrist through lengthy counselling that it was the right decision for them.
      Anyway my best wishes for the best possible life for you!

    • @Nephelis
      @Nephelis 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      @@OLDCHEMIST1 It surprises me how quickly we jumped from having to talk to a psychologist/psychiatrist, to just having to ask for hormones with no prescription whatsoever. I can remember in 2018 talking with someone that struggled with gender dysphoria, talking how difficult it was to get access to hormones and surgery and that they had to speak to a therapist first. Nowadays they just don't care. Even with so many individuals detransitioning, they ignore it. It goes along with how mental health is going into a decline everywhere.
      It's all really very, very disheartening.

      I agree 100% and I think gen X is mostly at fault. Just to clarify, I am a late Gen Xer. We coddled our kids, we gave them trophies for showing up at a sporting event, even if little Brittany didn't once kick the ball, and instead rolled on the ground pitching a fit because her mom didn't bring the right juice flavor. She still got a trophy. Li'l Brittany then went to a birthday party where SHE got a goody bag for coming to a birthday party and eating cake, for Pete's sake. Little Brittany's teacher got scolded by the principal because the parents complained that she was unfairly targeted because of x y and z. Little Britty baby physically kicked her mom while Mom was talking to a neighbor because Britty Boo wanted to go home watch TV and eat nuggets NOW. Mom had to leave an important PTA meeting at the elementary school because Britty boo didn't behave her self. Britty boo is 8. (I was the neighbor and told Britty boo to stop kicking her mom right now, while the poor women turned a remarkable shade of carmine.) Meanwhile her brother Zachary, li'l Zeke, has trashed his room, broken a few doors, kicked a few holes into the drywall, lit a fire in the elementary school boy's bathroom, but hey.... it's not his fault, he's got ADD (never formally diagnosed) and therefore all is forgiven and tolerated. This was modeled on two kids in my neighborhood, although they weren't actually siblings. A nice middle class neighborhood in a nice, well to do Midwest town. WE CREATED THIS PROBLEM. We created these self indulgent, weak, children who have next to no self discipline and then we handed them the ultimate tool of self destruction, the internet. We messed up. That narcissism was inculcated by us, the parents.

    • @RudesMom
      @RudesMom 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Social promotion. It also helps obscure lack of achievement when they offer remedial English and don't call it that. No matter what grade you get, you still aren't reading at grade level but hey, look you got a A. At least back in my day, you "graduated" one of two ways - a diploma (standard or academic) which required passing the functional literacy test or a certificate of attendance. Even then, my college did its own placement testing to make sure you where competent in English, math, and a foreign language. Woe was the person who didn't do well on the English test. Once those professors had you in their grasp, you were looking at four years of hell.

    • @anathemat-002

      They're being passed because a population that has low reading comprehension and no knowledge of historical events is incredibly easy to control and manipulate. Then, in 10 years when you publish a completely bogus scientific study chock full of p values and that isn't replicable, who is going to be able to disprove it? They never even got to basic algebra, let alone to a point where they could understand complex statistical values and proper scientific conduct. They just have to take your word for it that the numbers mean what you say they do, and isn't that convenient?

They just get so wrapped up in this performative persona that they have trouble accepting who they really are. Mostly because they don't know. That's kinda the point of the linear model paradigm to construct theatrical "sides" -- either dividing knowledge by false distinction or associating concepts from different scopes as opposites. (A sort of dialectic if will...) Which makes even the economic linear model equally nonsense.
      The first idea is to notice the linear model sits as petty division of authority/authoritarians and that the other axis is authority and liberty. However, not centered to make a Cartesian system as the compass and it's many biases, but skewed that the "sides" model is of the scope of "authority" which converges both with centralized authority ('the horseshoe' or sometimes 'circle') and with decentralized liberty with dissipating influence.
      A further idea which brings in the 'pendulum' notion with chaos/order can give you a circle of differing chaos of which the notions used to construct the theatrics of what is deemed "left/center/right" can be associated. Then the more you come into the center the more ordered you get. Additionally, in the third axis you have place authority rising to form a conical model. The tip of the cone is well ordered, convergence of chaotic control under tyranny; representing the fulcrum and the phenomenon more as a weapon than just a phenomenon. Therefore, the outer area of the cone forms a hierarchy of control from ordered tyranny to unordered chaos. Then, the center of the circle represents the "utopian"/impossible resting point of self-sustained order. The points within the volume of the cone and to that point represent orders/degrees of order without excessive authority. So... over reliance on authority and institution ties you to the hierarchy and pulls you up while grand efforts in reason, spirit, and understand bring you in. The idea would be that the "utopia" point would be all manners of chaos chaos choosing to grasp and will "the pendulum" to the center, therefore all working together yet independent in the few universal principles.
      Since you point out aesthetic/appearance; that "misogyny" is just the shared "'gynocentrism." Don't even need to explain that "love" and "hate" are the same, it's irrelevant. It's in the authority and unwavering consideration though and for that above all else. May you view and consider it "love" or "hatred," it doesn't matter, it *is* the sole consideration above all.
      As such, "both" are equally "feminist" and uphold the same fantastical premises. They love it, just as they love the game of "race," and all other subversive constructions. They get to assign the meaning, the concepts are beyond most people. Additionally it doesn't matter if what why, just more is better because more assigned groups are more easily manipulated, predictable, and usable to manipulate corresponding reaction as well. (Simple to complex, "divide and conquer.")
      Hence the above, it's a painting of the vying for authority to match their aesthetic. Or at least, that others are troublesome and annoying, otherwise all would be fine. All the subversion and corruption is great, it just should be there's. So they cannot and would not understand, even to better their position. (Which also gives you the "Overton window" thing.)
      I'll highlight again, that constructed "sides" per the contemporary established meaning are utter non-sense. Per the first idea, the false division serves only to conceive of a model where no-matter your choice you always support the authority/institution, including the "center" deceived into always making false compromise and feeling achieved for it. (Including, not excluding that "compromise" is not always correct.)
      ---
      To what I said about economics, which is also a mess... the various "social manipulations" assigned to the "left" are not within the the same scope as capitalism which is assigned oppositionally to the "right." Since I'm not sure what could be opposition for capitalism within it's own scope, I instead would point that "corporations" do fit within the "social manipulation" scope. This would match the same fraud such that you have "various means of social manipulation though social/cultural aspects" which will use capital regardless vs "various means of social manipulation though capital" which will use social/cultural aspects regardless thereby being a model of the main focus and/or means for manipulation/tyranny, but otherwise compatible.
      Which... I could explain further such that "communism," "socialism," or any other social ilks as that (including feminism, etc) will always be and become "fascism," centralizing authority -- tyranny.

    This stuff is parallel to prison culture. Rat, goof, squid, skinner are all derogatory names that parallel to some degree. Transphobe, terf, etc. in prison they stab the former. Must be a human thing to make up bad names, then use those names as a justification for violence.

I can't have a confrontation or debate because I get overwhelmed because I can't find the words I want to say which makes me upset so i isolate more than I already do. I'm also a lesbian. The world is going crazy. I can't understand this victim mentality. Ive tried to get therapy since I was 20 but places don't want to take on someone with bpd. I'd give anything to be helped and to be a better functioning adult. These people are clueless and have such an entitled attidue it's disgusting.
