Yes mate, good to be honest thats why i don't go out some mornings on the weekend because ive got a slight hang over. But theres always the evening sessions lol 😅
Great shooting , right up until the end I actually thought you were using an FAC rated rifle , until you mentioned otherwise .. just go's to show what a superb shooter can do with a sub12 .. BRILLIANT stuff ...
Looks like a lot of folks noticed that rather expensive setup for a bipod, haha, but shows the quick thinking needed sometimes. Nice bit of shooting there Mark, thanks to all for this episode.
i shoot .22 sub 12. 2 of my airguns set at 11.4 and 11.5ftlbs and i can safely shoot to 55 mtrs had a stint at .177 but due to muscle problems in my hands i dropped as many pellets as i loaded, but i could safely drop rabbits out to 70mtrs the flatter trajectory really works although i get less jumping around from quarry with my .22..i guess mostly its a marmite thing...
Just watched this after my first night hunting trip in years. 2 questions; how do you range find in the dark ( I’ve tried using a laser but the results are misleading. Also can’t work out why my old IR lamps won’t work with the new digital sight that I’m now using. Any suggestions gratefully received!
I have a laser range finder on the thermal binos I’m using - a very useful bit of kit! An infra red lamp should work fine with nv, unless it’s just a red torch you’re using? A lot of us used to refer to a red filter etc on a lamp or whatever as ‘infra red’ when in actual fact a true infra red the beam is invisible to the eye!
Thanks for the info on the rangefinder. I can imagine that it really makes night hunting a lot less tricky. The I R filleted and torches that I’m trying to use are the genuine article though I’m aware that they can operate at different frequencies so that may be the issue. Thanks anyway. Excellent shooting ,by the way.
Good video I was interested in the riddling trousers you pulled on. I checked the internet and the “over trousers” have an elasticised waist but yours didn’t. Which version did you pull over your trousers? Many thanks
The show costs money to produce which is paid for by advertisers, in return they like to see their products being used since they are paying for it 🤷🏻♂️
A $3000 gun, with a $1000 scope...for rabbits? I could by 10 AR-15'S, OR 25 Ruger 10/22 semi automatic. 22 lr. For $4000 the rabbit should jump I to the truck and wring it's own neck.
If you’ve brought the set up it doesn’t matter what you use it for 😆 also this can be purchased without the need for a licence here in the uk unlike a 22lr
BRILLIANT.
12:33 - One of the most expensive bipods EVER produced 🤣
A very good Thursday evening to you all from Wellington Somerset
Great shooting as always, thanks for the video.

Thanks for the video Mark, 12ftlb .177 put to good use. Another opinel user, I've not lost mine yet, won't be long.
Enjoyed this. Thank you.
Nice shooting Mark.
Nice night shooting, one way if using the thermal spotter's 😂

A nice evening out mate, and some lovely shooting! Cheers, Mark. TH-cam Channel: Farm Pest Management-Airgun
Blimey hey sound like a noisy pair of trousers!😂

These are the monsoon trousers from ridgeline, not sure if they are actually meant to be over trousers or not quite!
Might be just the location of the sound recorder but that rifle sounded too loud for hunting.
It’s actually very quiet, the mic on the scope seems to have an issue with it making it sound quite loud!
Have always used 177 never had any problems knocking rats rabbits over
👍
