2024 Can-Am Renegade Full Build Walkaround

- We received the final parts for the 2024 Renegade X-MR1000r build. OMD @originalmodsdesign2339 2-inch handlebar risers, with steering stem brace insert. Upgraded HD Tie Rods, Billet Knuckle shifter gas cap and winch fairlead all powdercoated in the Can-Am firecracker red. After the installations, we hit the trail for a more in-depth walkaround to list all the modifications made and the parts used on this custom Renegade from #BayMarine.

Very nice build. We lost most of our snow last week with all the mild temps then it froze again. Extremely icy on the trails now. Can probably use studs lol, looking forward to more adventures.👍.

It was a blast! I posted some pics on IQ & video coming soon! I'm still wearing that custom hat you sent me with the embroidered "Q" on the back & it's still one of my favorites! I washed it recently with Dove PowerWash. Worked amazing! Looks brand new again - lol. Cheers brotha!

So why don't you run a 2 inch stretch trail arms? Keep the stock foot well instead?
I run stretched on my 18 for 34s. I like the stock length for 32 and under

Great build! How much rise did you get with the handlebars and do you think it improves handling. I don't like how low the stock bars are and shifter it close when bars are turned or starting to get stuck in mud. Thx
A touch over 2" with stem insert as well. I know what you are saying! It's tight and can actually be dangerous at times when reaching for that shifter in some scenarios. Braaaap. Yeah, it definitely improved the handling imop. Takes a ton of strain off my shoulders when standing and ripping. Cheers my friend, I appreciate ya checking out the vid.

How much did the quad cost💲and all the modification cost?
23-24k for Renegade and roughly 8-9k in addition for mods. My demo from last year is up for sale at 25k I believe, with all the same additions minus the clutches I reused. Still a steal of a deal with 600 or so klms.

@@ehTV1000 well I got a 2023 xmr1000 and I’m having belt box leaking problems rn just trying to see how to fix it
@perryduhe8557 pull the plastics and tighten all the clamps on tubes and make sure they are seated properly. I do this with every unit. I find loose clamps on every one.

Operators union at this time. Done a few different occupations over the years, and I enjoy this one most. Spent the prior 10yrs in the cemetery industry. Had many big boy toys to maintain everything, so it was an easy transition back to construction for the most part. But indeed still learning new things on the daily. Cheers
