That RGT looks pretty much like a direct clone of the ecx barrage 1/24. Interesting. It's also over geared.
Kev, you definitely need to check out the SCX24 Deadbolt. It's definitely my favorite mini crawler nowadays.
How do you film the suspension of your rc cars? Those vids always look so good
i was thinking, i know some scale sticky tires for that gravedigger, but then you showed that last footage of it doing his thing, and the tires on it are perfectly realistic for that. the bit of drifting looks super realistic in slowmo.
I’m honestly debating on saving the money to build one of those Grave Diggers... maybe even make a custom 25th anniversary body? 🤔

Yea Kev if I were you I'd try to find some bigger suspension and articulation rods for that hbx devistator cause it's definitely a good crawler for sure all of them are in my opinion they just need a few upgrades to help all crawlers have less cons and more pros to them

Hi kev, i love your vids and im suggesting an rc car that you would probibly enjoy. it is called the ecx amp mt (monster truck), it can really take a beating and i know that 8s steve has the buggy version but you might have a lot of fun with this one, i know i have one i got the build to drive kit and im going to make it go faster than the xmaxx (i think). 5200kv brushless and 3s esc with a zop power 3s lipo. plus that dumbo rc radio the same one that is on your xo-1. i would really love to watch a review on this dirt cheap rc monster truck. plzzzzzzzzssssssssss.!!! :)
Maybe you can try out the sumo crawler 1/24! What i like better abouth that one is that it runs on AAA batteries so you can change the batteries and keep driving!

Hey let why don't you get the axial scx24 it's very small and you can easily mount an fpv camera on it
Do you have any plans to test the Axial SCX24? I have the new JLU version pre-ordered. It's waterproof and runs on lipo. I want to do the same thing you did and put an RGT/ECX body on it.

For just a little crawler/mess around car I think I'm gonna have to go for the yellow one
Spend a bit more money and get an RC4WD Gelande II. I have the Land Rover one and it's great. Replaced the ESC/receiver combo with a Castle Micro ESC and put a spektrum receiver in it and it's awesome.
There isn't a link to the devastator model and i cannot find it on banggood
Why don't u have the scx24 to compare with these in my opinion not a tire test to which is the better micro crawler

Hi kev,im new to tbe hobbie(Thanks to you my friend) and I have a problem with my JLB J3 speed.when I switch it on there is a flashing red light on the esc and I have no drive or steering.ive tryed re-calibrating it but that doesn't work,it was working after I'd broken the down suspension arm,I put it away till I got the parts and now it's not responding.any ideas please....ANYONE?

I bought a devasator on your recommendation, lasted 2 days before the weedy plastic drive shafts broke. Now I'm waiting another 3 weeks for some metal shafts to come from China :/
