Good luck with your goals!!🎉 Sometimes I find devotionals can get tedious at times so I keep a journal write down just one verse a day then underneath write down any thoughts I have about how it pertains to my life or the world today only takes a few minutes and it has helped me do devotionals as well as just doing my own thing🙏🙏🙏
I love the 1% better way of thinking, and building on that month by month, year by year. It makes big goals so much more attainable. I don’t do resolutions but I do love the calendar reset of a fresh new year. I know you can reset any day, but my mind thrives more off the hard reset of a new calendar year.
Unusually do too but this year I feel like the bar is so low on so many things that I’m just trying to get slightly better every day and the idea of a new year and big changes stressed me out haha. Usually I love a big purge right now and a big fresh start, but maybe next year!
Love your personal goals. I’ve also made the goal of one on one time with each of my kids the last couple years but it is definitely hard to get that individual time in. However, the bonding during those times is so rewarding. 🥰
I am trying to embrace the POP in 2025 instead of the TBR (Pile of Possibilities). I’m hoping that helps me feel less constricted 😊 Also I’m glad you talk about therapy because I agree with you on how everyone can benefit from it, and it’s not normalized enough!
I feel like a lot of people are moving away from TBRs this year, or at least that's the goal. I think i will keep doing what I've been doing, which is a few books I'm going to read for sure, and the rest a pile i can mood read through.
I think my book haul revisits have taken the place of TBRs for now. Some months, those books are all the structure I want. It’ll be interesting to see if it changes. No tbr, just mood reading, used to stress me out, but now I’m loving it!
Great job on your 2024 goals! 🎊 I'm not big on TBRs either. The only books on my TBRs are the new release cozy mysteries in series that I'm continuing (my anticipated reads) which I'm really excited about reading after that I mood read. This provides me a little structure so I have something to read each month that I'm really excited to read but also allows me to choose. This has worked well for me and that is my only bookish goal in 2025 besides continuing my cozy mystery blog - Cozy Mystery Cat. My personal goals surround health - physical (body) and mental (mind), and spirituality (soul). I only make one resolution every year and it's to try one new thing sometime during the new year. This is how I started reading cozy mysteries, started birding, and created my blog. Not sure yet what the one new thing will be in 2025. You have great 2025 goals! Good luck with them!💕
@ Other people have said this to me as well but I prefer to be behind the scenes with a blog and in the comments. I joined You Tube in Nov 2006 and never once had a desire to make videos. I have to go with my gut on this.
Hooray for reading so much off your shelves!! That’s awesome, and definitely one of my goals in 2025 is to read more off my shelves. I love the library, and ended up reading quite a bit more from there than I intended (but at least I didn’t buy those books!! 😂). Yay for being more liberal with the DNF!
Ya it’s hard to feel guilty using the library because I know it helps their funding, but also my book clutter is starting to annoy me and I can’t unhaul without reading- yet haha
Nice set of loose goals! As for Bible study, I have a prayer journal and a book by Paul David Tripp called New Morning Mercies. Prior to that I had Jesus Calling. I write in my prayer journal 3-4 times a week or every day, it’s undated so I just make entries. I pour out my heart to God. As for reading goals I don’t do spreadsheets. I keep things in Goodreads or wishlists. One goal I have is to read my physical shelves down to the space I have for them. I have gone on several buying sprees! I like your Patreon goals but I miss them frequently because of family and my side hustle (pet sitting). Also I just don’t get the time right!!
I’ll look up new morning mercies! I’m not a fan of Jesus calling. I don’t know why! Good goal of reading your shelves! I bet you’ll get it done no problem! I’ll start texting you before liveshows! Haha
Sounds like good goals to follow. I try to do some goals, for reading and personal life resolutions doesn't work too well for me. Reading, I want to read some of the books off my tbr good reads list, for it seems I read some of those books, but not enough of them and then I just pile more onto them I want to read. Personal, get better health wise, so I need to set them a little at a time to get to where I want to be.
Congratulations on crushing the goals! Love your goals for 2025! Last you I had more broad goals “read more off my physical shelves” but this year I put a number on it of 72. Reading to 0 sounds cool, maybe I will do that with a few authors that I’ve read from.
@@AlwaysBookedI have chosen two authors so far to read to 0 A.R Torre & Alex Finlay. I would like to read all of Kristin Hannah’s books but her’s are so emotional so I can only do 2 of her backlist this year.
Good luck with your goals!!🎉

Yes!! I did that for awhile this year with the verse of the day from the Bible app. I do like that a lot. Thanks for the suggestion!

Yes! It’s so hard to make happen but when it does it’s (usually) so beneficial for us both!

Great 2025 goals. I look forward to your content in this coming year.
Thank you for being here 💜💜💜

New thing: start a TH-cam!!!

New subbie! Best of luck with all of your goals. Looking forward to getting to know you in 2025.

Love the idea of small, attainable goals

How many are on your shelves? Is that a certain percentage or how did you pick 72?
@ I think I have 350? Last year I was able to get 65 off my shelves so I just wanted to up that total this year.
@ you got this!
@@AlwaysBookedI have chosen two authors so far to read to 0 A.R Torre & Alex Finlay. I would like to read all of Kristin Hannah’s books but her’s are so emotional so I can only do 2 of her backlist this year.
@ I don’t think I’ve ever read an Alex finlay but I want to!!
