We're doing a tour at the Lufthansa Senator Lounge H-gates. The flight between Munich and Bangkok was a great experience!
I started my experience at Franz Josef Strauss Airport, in Munich. After check in I continued to the great Senator Lounge for German food and drinks.

The Thai Airways Business Class on board the A350 offers an amazing seat and great legroom.
Thai Airways food and drinks are included in the ticket. I had delicious Thai food for dinner and breakfast on this flight. Thai offers Laurent-Perrier and Piper-Heidsieck champagne. However, on this flight, Piper was not available.

I flew 3 times in business class (A350) on Thai Airways this year between Europe and Bangkok and once between Melbourne and Bangkok. Just came back from Bangkok and the latest flight was outstanding. we got 5 hot towels,during the flight, the food was superb, the seat clean and comfortable, the crew was super friendly, highly efficient and well trained. The only minus is their entertainment system. The content is weak, no current series box sets, rarely any new and interesting movies, the music selection is also not on par with Singapore, BA, Emirates or Qatar. All in all Thai is back and the service as exellent as pre-covid. My favourite seats are always 12 A or 12 K (at the window).
I totally agree with you. 💯! And my review correlates with your thoughts. Sadly the best window seats were already occupied when I booked. But I still enjoyed.

I had the direct comparison from Stockholm to Melbourne three weeks ago. I was booked on Thai but their Stockholm-Bangkok leg was cancelled due to technical problems. They rebooked me on Emirates and that was one of the worst experiences ever. Flight from Stockholm to Dubai was on a super old 777 with zero privacy in business, terrible outdated seat, no amenity kit, the (rather below average quality) food service started 2,5 hours after departure, the crew was a mess (totally unorganized), too young and not well trained. The flight from Dubai to Melbourne was not much better. They told us in the lounge to stay there as the flight is not ready, so about 30 of us remained there until 20 min before departure. Then an Emirates staffer came and shouted at us "hurry up last call", as we had to go through an additional security check we made it last minute. The A380 seat was much better, but the crew and the service the same mess. They highlighted that the 20 flight attendants speak 21 languages. Totally useless if your basic friendliness and common sense is missing. I didn´t sleep much as one of them always bumped against my seat with their cart. Food was mediocre again. I would rate the Emirates flights a 2/10 and the Thai flights a 9/10.
Yes I flew Thai Airways but it was only an Economy Class. tasty foods and nice experience flying with them.

Thai tea with grass jelly is always my favorite. I think service of Thai airways is much better than last couple years just maybe they gain more profits from business in last two years. Hope the service will getting better.

I will fly Thai Airways A350 Business Class soon in February 24. Starting also from MUC to BKK and after 1 Month back to MUC.
If you fly Business the vacation starts already at home and at least at the Business Class Checkin Counter at the airport.
A 180° flatbed during about 10 hours flighttime without an interruption is perfect for relax and sleep and the time change to +5 or +6 hours.
Also you have fast track and fastline in Munic and Bangkok also. So verry short waiting times and much lover stresslevel than going by Economy.
I agree with you. Especially when flying longhaul, business class is a big advantage.

Great video, thanks. I flew Thai Air Business a few times over 10 years ago now, from London Heathrow. I love these A350’s , which I feel are more up to date than the older B777’s, and I cannot understand why Thai Air don’t use these from the UK. Currently my preferred business airline to BKK is Emirates A380. However, your video gave a very good impression of the more recent Thai product and service. I enjoy reading the menu’s more thoroughly, so if a little more time could be spent on these in future videos, that would be great for me. Thanks all the same. A pleasure to watch.👏👍🏻

I think Thai offers a great product again and I wouldn’t hesitate to try it. But of course, Emirates is a solid choice as well when flying the new config. For me the price would be determining.

I tried the 777 and 747 in business. I have an A350 from BKK to IST in business in Feb. Looking forward to it.
Never got to try the 747 in business with Thai, only Economy. But its still a great experience to fly the Queen of the skies!

I have a flight in just over 3 weeks SYD-BKK returning in June. I'm looking forward to seeing how this goes. I've flown on Singapores 350's in business so the comparison will be interesting. I've also flown Qatar 350-1000 but that was QSuites so hardly a fair comparison

I will fly the THAI A-350 in biz later this month in business from Stockholm as part of an itinerary that eoll take me from BER to TPE. I already got seat 12A booked. I think I eill dkip breakfast dur to our eatly arrival time at BKK.

I flew Thai on there nonstop LAX - BANGKOK prior to Covid in Business Class and it was AWFUL!! Service was TERRIBLE, food was TERRIBLE!! and when I complained to Thai CORP. they responded with "oh that is to bad"!!1 So never again for me. Glas your flight was so good. Nice video!!
Sorry to hear about your experience. I know Thai had a couple of bad years when they did not deliver expected standards. Hopefully they’re back on this level to stay.

I took the Melbourne to Bangkok flight on the A350 in biz last week and it was one of the best in my 30 years of frequent travelling. A great crew, we had the first drinks 18 min after departures with mixed nuts at the seat and the food service started 29 min after departure. The food was lovely, hot towels a plenty and as I liked their signature drink a lot, the purser gave me a complete bottle to enjoy at my hotel. Honest friendliness, a clean seat, great food. So you can look forward to an excellent flight.
Flew Melbourne to Bangkok in March and had the same level of service was excellent

No pyjamas is provided. Not many airlines give away pyjamas unless flying First. EVA is one of few.

A question about the food in Thai Business Class. We are flying BKK-MUC with Thai Airways in Business Class in April. When booking the pre-boarding menu, we are offered two different main courses (with 3 alternative breakfast menus each). In the videos on TH-cam I had seen that usually 3 main courses are offered. Is it normal to have a smaller selection when booking in advance? Or will there only be the two menus on board? Or even a completely different selection? I'm asking because I'm not sure whether I should book a menu in advance or wait for the selection on the flight. If anyone knows anything about this, I would be super grateful.
In general I go for the onboard menu with Thai. Try to get a seat in the front and all choices will be available.

Very nice review, but fly all the way to BKK and then climb onto a bus to the gate, same as many domestic flights they don't go to teh gate, you have to get on a coach!!!! Never understood why
I agree with you. After a great flight you want to step out of the plane and in to the terminal.
When taking the bus you get the feeling of travelling Eco the last bit of your journey.

Thai have been bussing from the plane to the gate in Bangkok for years. It leaves a very bad taste at the end of a long trip. On an airline that should provide a premium experience at their home airport.
Other decent airlines mostly arrive at the gate in BKK. Bussing is rare. So it's not as if it's dictated by the airport in BKK.
If I have a choice of two decent airlines into BKK I would like to chose TG. But bussing puts me off if there is a good alternative airline.
Long haul to Asia from Europe: I think only Thai, Qatar and maybe Air France are ok. Emirates and Finnair dont deliver. In business: I have never had a bad experience? But I avoid tight transfers, I have lost my luggage a couple of times. Cheers.
Service wise I would say the Asian and Middle Eastern airlines are the best, just as you point out. Actually I haven’t tried Qatar in business class so far, but I have two flights in February. Pretty excited about it, and of course I will publish my reviews.

@@travelexperiencetv9916 The advantage with Business class - and if you dont have access though your Credit Card, or have benefits at Star Alliance or Skyteam/Oneworld - is the possibility of staying at the lounge for a few hours and waiting for an afternoon/early evening flight from Suvarnabhumi, if we are talking about Bangkok. And be able to have a stressless, late check out from your hotel, which is often offered if one ask.
Sounds great, but this time I will fly out of South America to Doha and on to CPH. So I will have many hours to enjoy QR. And a few lounge hours at DOH.
