Looking at this crowd and thinking that these guys deserve so much better. They absolutely were the genuine article, accept no substitutes . An American original kick ass rock n roll band.
Here we go again, losing yet another legend...a luminary in an age of darkness...a great, an undefeated, a very underrated, a very celebrated, highly coveted among the Jerseyates who know...having lately more days that will live in infamy for us finer music aficionados...losses coming with no comfort. RIP, Pat. but know this: YOU WILL NOT EVER BE ...JUST A MEMORY...

R.I.P Pat. I never had the opportunity to see you and the boys live. I will never be completely full as a person. I feel broken inside. The Smithereens are so underrated it destroys the mere definition of 'underrated'. My old man turned me on to this band back in the early 1990s, and I've been hooked ever since. I own EVERY album.

These guys always delivered weather the crowd was as into it as they should be or not. Everything about the Smithereens was and remains awesome! They will always be one of my favorite bands ever👍🏻 God bless Pat (RIP😓) and The Smithereens forever!
One of my faves too. Saw them live in Stockholm…very loud!
This band so often got so much less than their dedication and immense talent deserved. Sad. There are a good amount of people who truly appreciate them as they deserve to be appreciated and I hope I can consider myself one of them! They were/ are so good!

Spent a good part of this evening drinking good beer and watching/listening to live Smithereens TH-cam videos. Time well spent any day in my opinion👍🏻😁

What a great group of guys! Listen to how nice they are to the crowd. I saw them play many times in all stages of their success and I loved it all.
Each one of these guys seems to know there is no one else they would rather be associated/ playing with. The mutual appreciation for each other is rare and super cool! To be able to see and recognize it from a TH-cam video is really cool. Just reinforces to me how this was/is one of the coolest bands ever!

I seen the guys play 7 or 8 times, always entertaining! This croud was the least appreciative i have ever seen. Too bad, the Smithereens deserved better. A fine bunch of lads. RIP Pat
