Thanks for watching! What you say is true, you can explain it in the finest detail to show that organized controlled hunting is needed but certain people see only their own believes and choose to ignore what they don't want to hear.
Great! I hope you have an awesome hunt, please keep us posted. I would have like to offer our services to film your hunt but July is fully booked, unfortunately.
Congratulations! Great explanation of the harmony of keeping herds healthy, generating income streams that benefit people and other animals, and feeding hungry mouths. 😊
Humans are over populating, true, but that does not mean we should let everything else go to waste. Left on their own there will be a lot of species added to the extinction list. Human action, protection and control prevents this. But it can also go the other way. Animals can also over populate their habitat if they are over bred and the straign on that habitat will cause the whole tribe to suffer. Just look at the conditions in over populated cities and countries, poverty and suffering. The animals are much better off in this conservation programs and it's caring humans that manage it. Not so stupid if you start thinking about it more.
@@THEHuntingChannelmeat doesn't actually do anything. I don't have any problem doing a manual job (cross that out - extremely extremely energetic job) plus all the endurance sports I do. The body doesn't need that much protein. You can get it from plants and beans. The body needs glycogen in the muscles which is created through carbs, salts and electrolytes. I take a fridge to work and I load up with litres upon litres of fluid with salt tablets and electrolytes and pure carb power which I sip all day long out in the hot sun. That's why I don't get burn out like other people do and can still go to the pool and do a 2hr swim or some other kind of training after. It's becuase I'm keeping my glycogen stores topped up. More then happy to shoot anything, but meat doesn't actually do anything if you want to be a hard worker compared to not eating it.
Hi Dan. Very interesting indeed. I'm not a big health nut but I try to live healthy to fit my lifestyle. I can see the benefits of your way, but believe it it tough for the average guy in Africa to do the same. Most of the population don't have fridges, don't have stores nearby to get all the fancy stuff from, also don't have the funds to do so. What we try to achieve, and it actually works very well, is to feed people with this meat. If we don't, they'll go out and put snares up for bush meat. This kills the wildlife population very very quickly and there will be none left. Feeding the local people helps to protect wildlife AND it feeds people. Thank you for your comment, I appreciate the explanation and the time you put in.
Ah yes genetic diversity... theres a reason your called the hunting channel not the conservation channel.. youse were giggling a little bit too much for me to trust you
Luckily, we don't need everyone to support/trust us. At the end of the day, the best way to know if your conservation efforts are successful is to go out in the bush and see for yourself.
Two awesome shots Kim congrats on the beautiful Giraffe and much ❤ Joanne in the UK
Indeed! Kim was amazing. Thanks for watching!
Keep up the good work. Some people live in there own little bubble world and can not comprehend the facts no matter what you say or prove to them

@@THEHuntingChannel Those kinds of people are emotional little children, they do not care about reason, arguments or whatever.

Thank you for the support! It's always great to receive positive comments.
Do they taste as good as they look?
They have good meat, and lots of it!
If you hunt for sport, just say it. Saying controlling population is stupid when humans are over populating.

Why are you hunting Giraffe?
Did you actually watch the video or comment only on the picture you see.....because the explaination is in the video.
Because they're (probably) delicious.
🤣, yes, there is that.

Giraffes are so damn cute! How could anybody shoot such a lovely animal with such big sad soft brown eyes! The shame of it!
They are very cute indeed! Your question is already answered, it's in the video itself. Please watch the movie in full and you will understand.

Avoid giraffe hunting
Why? It's very safe to do. Just be careful when handling the rifle.
