The man-eating leopard of Rudraprayag killed 125 people over 8 years. They lived in terror those 8 years. Read Jim Corbett. Fk predators. Leopards are “beautiful monsters.” Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so get new glasses.
That is VERY interesting. I'll try to find that book. They are monsters, for sure. One of the coolest animals on the planet!
@ The books are free online. Also Man Eaters of Kumaon. Both books (easy reads) by Jim Corbett.
Total falta de respeto a el animal. Punto uno no hay que sentarse y nada de eso punto dos 2 una payasada de millonarios
Conservation is expensive, only the wealthy people can afford a safari like this, so if possibly he's a millionaire, good for him, he probably worked hard to get there and employ a few people. I think you need to do more research on the benefits of controlled hunting to understand it's not disrespect you see, it's a way to save so many others from being killed in inhumane ways that will give you sleepness nights should you stumble on footage or a documentary on the subject. Thát you can call disrespectful or any other bad name you want because then you will be spot on.
Why is it that in a heck of a lot of these hunts does the PH have to tell the client to reload? Not just this one but lots. Surely you would want to be ready so as not to run into trouble? Wish I could afford a hunt myself. Never mind!
Good question! I've seen it a thousand times. At the range, most people reload quickly and are on it, but being out there, in the moment, everyone reacts differently. It's an awesome experience, I hope someday you can do it also.
Big Buff, nice trailer better than winching it in the Buckky
True, custom equipment always make ones work easier!
You've clearly been to Africa! When did you visit?
Can you tell me the reason why did you killed this leopard im asking because i don't know
In most of Africa, we have sustainable utilization programs like these designed to fund conservation. They protect the land and habitat where thousands of animals live and breed.
Thank you vor this nice Video- please tell us, what kind of ammunition you have used, bullet tye and weight. Thanks Gordian
Hi Gordian. I'll have to go back to the full video and check on that, or hopefully the hunter will reply also. Thank you for watching!

What do hippo meat taste like
Very good! Amazing taste but a bit fatty. And there's lots of it.
There are only 2000 lions left in zimbabwe…and these so called conservationists are killing on the name of sustainable growth😂😂😂😂…what a joke….shame
Indeed! Imagine how little, of any, would have been in Zim if we didn't have these programs. Even WWF agrees that sustainable utilization programs are beneficial to wildlife. They did actual research AND came here to see for themselves. What are your opinion based on? When last did you visit Africa to see the facts, or are you basing your comments on emotion only?
@@THEHuntingChannel are u from zimbabwe or a foreign hunter
I'm from South Africa. I spend 250 days a year out in the wild. How about you?
@@THEHuntingChannel well i come from a country where we do not interfere in nature. Here even kil*ling a dove is prohibited under wildlife protection act of 1972.. we respect nd love animals unlike u exploiters.
Great, I'm happy your country has a different conservation plan in place. If that works for you, go ahead. It doesn't work here, though.
In india all hunting is banned….that is why wildlife including tigers and lions are flourising so well here…we have highest population of tigers in the world…..shameful is it to see such magestic animal killed for fun on the name of controlled hunting………no justification can justify this sinful act👎👎👎
India and Africa all very different places, different animals, different people. This calls for different types of conservation. I'm not surprised that you have the highest population of tigers in the world, that's where they occur. Africa has the highest population of African lions AND everywhere we run these sustainable utilization programs we have an increase in numbers. Our conservation is working. We even have a surplus of animals. India imported Cheetah from Africa. You let all of your Cheetah die, every single of of them so you took some of ours AND THEN YOU LET THEM DIE ALSO! You should not be giving conservation advice at all.
@ hahahaha…………….post colonisation programmes in india are commendable….cheetas got extinct before india’s independence. We imported it and we are conserving it. On the other hand people like u make sure that africa’s beautiful lion numbers are reduced to thousands only when 80 yrs ago they were abundant there….and i m sure not even a single penny goes in conservation…who keeps account of this money…..???? these huntings are reckless and shameful acts…nothing else…..
@ zimbabwe is a poor nation…..people are simple and innocent there…..but some people like you use your money to fool people there on the name of these sinful so called “sustainable conservation programmes”
Only 2000 lions remain in zim😅😅and u keep justifying,,,,hahahahah
@akhleshkotwal-fn1cb Indeed! Imagine how little, of any, would have been in Zim if we didn't have these programs. Even WWF agrees that sustainable utilization programs are beneficial to wildlife. They did actual research AND came here to see for themselves. What are your opinion based on?
Cowards
Leopard aren't cowards!
@ you re such a old coward. You r family should be shameful of you.
Dudu, you don't even know me and you sure don't know how conservation works here in Africa. You should stick to mountain biking, you need the practice....
Estas callado y no te oyen Pero no te huelen? Camuflas tu olor?
Si prestas atención al viento, todo irá bien. A veces, todo sale perfecto así. ¡Gracias por ver el vídeo!
Do they eat these lions
In many African countries lion meat is a delicacy. It's not for everyone, though!
Yes. The other white meat.
Why not to try to catch such animals and relocate them to places where the numbers of them are small? I watched some programs where lions were relocated. IMHO killing them as a population regulation is really for people who have the joy of killing. We are human and we can think so why in this area nobody uses more human way to protect animals?
Relocation had limited success in the past but it had more epic failures than successes. It's a very expensive process and only help a few animals. It does nothing for the original habitat and it doesn't help to fight poachers. Seeing that habitat loss and poaching are the two biggest problems we need to address those first, and controlled hunting programs does both. Lions are easier to relocate than leopard, that's why there are shows about it. Take the Cheetah relocation project in 2023 as an example. 12 Cheetah was moved to India, today only 2 are still alive and still kept in enclosures. It was a horrible death for those cats and the two remaining ones now live a horrible life. Sometimes the method that seems the least humane are the ones that saves entire species.
@@THEHuntingChannel Ok understand your point of view but cheetah example doesn't convince me since we are talking about relocation to the historical habitat. We both know that India has changed a bit since 1947.
Interesting point. Apparently, there was a court case about the cheetah in India. Initially, it was decided that Cheetah didn't naturally occur there, but that was changed later. I have no idea what is true, but it seems there was some type of cheetah
REVOLTING. THIS MONSTROSITY MUST BECOME ILLEGAL. PERIOD.
That would be a big mistake. If you care about wildlife, why would you stop the most successful conservation program in the world?
REVOLTING. THIS MONSTROSITY MUST BECOME ILLEGAL. PERIOD.
That would be a big mistake. If you care about wildlife, why would you stop the most successful conservation program in the world?
@THEHuntingChannel This is unbelievable and insane. There is absolutely no heroism in sniping and killing a majestic animal like a big cat. Instead, it’s a clear sign of cowardice. True bravery lies in protecting and preserving these creatures, ensuring they continue to thrive in the wild for generations to come. The idea of conservation through hunting licenses is deeply flawed. There are far more people who are willing to donate to protect and preserve these magnificent creatures than those who want to kill them. Hunting is not, and should never be, a means of conservation-especially when these species are not overpopulated. The focus should be on sustainable, ethical methods to keep these beautiful animals alive and thriving in their natural habitats. Hunting for pleasure is cruel and should be banned everywhere. A similar argument was made in India back in 1972 when the Wildlife Protection Act was introduced, banning hunting. At the time, hunting agencies were advertising across the world, encouraging people to hunt and kill our tigers. But Indira Gandhi, the then Prime Minister of India, took a bold stand. She declared, "If foreign reserves come at the cost of killing some of the most magnificent creatures on Earth, we do not need such reserves." It's also important to note that animal hunting in India is permitted only in rare cases when an animal becomes a man-eater or poses a threat to human life-not for pleasure.
Good day and thank you for your comment. I can see you deeply care for wildlife, as do I. I agree with you that we need a different method to conserve wildlife, sustainable utilization isn't perfect but it works. Currently there are no more effective way to fund conservation than controlled hunting. If you find another way, please help us implement it. Until then we'll have to continue our current programs, which include controlled hunting. These hunts aren't about bravery or cowardice. If you focus on the person you miss the whole point. You have to focus on wildlife as a whole. You need to understand that you cannot compare Africa and India. Africa is 9 times bigger and have totally different conservation needs. What works in India might not work in Africa. Interestingly is that many of our African wildlife are relocated to India to restore what you have already lost. During 2023 twelve Cheetah was relocated to India, today only two are still alive and kept in an enclosure. I believe India shouldn't shouldn't be an example of conservation, definitely not better than Africa. WWF even agrees that a well managed sustainable utilization program is beneficial to wildlife as a whole, so who are we to argue?
@@THEHuntingChannel India’s last wild cheetahs were tragically shot in 1947 by Maharaja Ramanuj Pratap Singh Deo of Surguja, marking the extinction of the species in the country. Interestingly, this happened the same year India gained independence in August 1947, meaning cheetahs were gone from the wild before the nation could fully chart its own course. It wasn’t until 1972 that India passed the Wildlife Protection Act, learning from past mistakes and taking steps toward conservation. Today, India is moving beyond protection to reintroduction efforts, demonstrating a renewed commitment to preserving biodiversity. However, while the focus is on safeguarding wildlife, traditional forms of generating revenue through hunting are no longer part of the equation. Organisations like WWF do not mention hunting, highlighting the shift in global perspectives on wildlife conservation. Instead, there are numerous sustainable and ethical ways to generate revenue, Wildlife Safaris - Charge visitors for guided safaris in wildlife reserves. Photography Tours - Offer permits for wildlife photography. Tourism Taxes - Add small conservation fees to tourist visits. Eco-Tourism - Develop nature trails and eco-friendly tourism activities. Taxidermy Sales - Sell taxidermy of naturally deceased animals for museums and collectors. Corporate Wildlife Adoption - Let companies sponsor and "adopt" animals, with naming rights. Photography Contests - Organise wildlife photography contests with prize money, funded through crowd-sourcing. Wildlife Naming Rights - Allow companies to name animals in exchange for donations. Conservation Souvenirs - Sell wildlife-themed merchandise to raise funds. Film Permits - Charge production teams for filming in wildlife areas. Luxury Eco-Lodges - Develop eco-lodges near wildlife zones for responsible tourism. Virtual Tours - Host online wildlife tours and experiences for a global audience. Though discussing this may seem like a small step, every conversation contributes to shaping a future where wildlife thrives, and nations benefit from the rich natural heritage they protect. The below are the successful conservation of wild life in India without using hunting as means. 1. Project Tiger (1973) Goal: Protect the endangered Bengal tiger. Success: Tiger population increased from 1,411 in 2006 to over 3,000 in 2023. India now hosts 75% of the world’s wild tigers. 2. Project Elephant (1992) Goal: Protect elephants and their habitats. Success: Elephant populations are stable, and India has around 30,000 wild elephants, the largest population in Asia. 3. Asiatic Lion Conservation (1972) - Gir National Park Goal: Save the Asiatic lion, once on the brink of extinction. Success: The population rose from 180 in the 1970s to over 674 in 2020. 4. One-Horned Rhinoceros Conservation (Kaziranga National Park) Goal: Protect the Indian one-horned rhinoceros. Success: Numbers increased from fewer than 200 in the early 20th century to over 2,600 today. 5. Snow Leopard Project (2009) Goal: Preserve snow leopards in the Himalayas. Success: Population estimates indicate stable numbers, with increased protection through community involvement. 6. Vulture Recovery Programme (2006) Goal: Prevent the extinction of vulture species due to Diclofenac poisoning. Success: Populations of critically endangered vulture species like the Indian white-rumped vulture show signs of recovery. 7. Cheetah Reintroduction (2022) Goal: Reintroduce cheetahs to India after their extinction in 1947. Success: Eight cheetahs were successfully translocated from Namibia to Kuno National Park in 2022, with plans for further reintroduction. 8. Gharial Conservation (1975) Goal: Save the critically endangered gharial (fish-eating crocodile). Success: Gharial numbers in the Chambal River rose from around 200 to over 1,600. 9. Great Indian Bustard Conservation (2013) Goal: Protect the critically endangered Great Indian Bustard. Success: Captive breeding and habitat protection efforts are ongoing, with signs of stabilisation in population decline. 10. Olive Ridley Turtle Conservation (Odisha) Goal: Protect mass nesting sites of Olive Ridley turtles. Success: Nesting numbers have improved, with Odisha beaches hosting one of the largest nesting events globally.
I appreciate the effort that you put into your reply, and I truly wish all those suggestions will work here in Africa. I will send them on to a few contacts and hopefully we can make it work, but I've tried to do this before with little success. India and Africa are so very different in habitat, size and people that it's extremely hard to get everyone to work together and let's face it: One country alone can't do enough. A few notes on your suggestions: Wildlife Safaris and Photography tours - Charge visitors for guided safaris in wildlife reserves. We do that already but this only works in certain areas. Many areas are deemed too dangerous for tourists and they just don't go there. Other areas are flooded with tourists and actually have a negative impact on wildlife. The few areas where this plan works are normally OK, but different problems have sprung up, like extremely high poaching and over population of certain species. Tourism Taxes - Add small conservation fees to tourist visits. - This is already done but most of the money is lost due to corruption. Africa is prone to extreme corruption. Eco-Tourism - Develop nature trails and eco-friendly tourism activities. Done and successful in some areas, other areas are too dangerous or hard to reach, so tourists won't go there. Taxidermy Sales - Sell taxidermy of naturally deceased animals for museums and collectors. - Great idea. IF you can find the dead animals in time to save the skin and find a buyer to pay the huge costs involved for this. Corporate Wildlife Adoption - Let companies sponsor and "adopt" animals, with naming rights. - Already in place BUT this only protects the one specific animal, not the species or habitat as a whole. Photography Contests - Organize wildlife photography contests with prize money, funded through crowd-sourcing. - Interesting idea, I'll look into it to see which crowd-funding website operate in Africa. I tried to start a non-profit organization to save orphaned rhino, but none of the big companies supported Africa. I used a more unknown website and received $0 because nobody used the small website. Wildlife Naming Rights - Allow companies to name animals in exchange for donations. - Same problem as adoption. Conservation Souvenirs - Sell wildlife-themed merchandise to raise funds. I doubt the profit will be nearly enough to cover all of Africa. Film Permits - Charge production teams for filming in wildlife areas. - Already in place, most of the money goes towards the people organizing it, the actual game reserve doesn't get much, and even if they did it will only benefit the one specific reserve, what about the thousands of others across Africa? Most of Africa is only visited by hunters. Most people are too scared to travel deep into Africa, this includes filming crews. Luxury Eco-Lodges - Develop eco-lodges near wildlife zones for responsible tourism. - Already in place. Some are beneficial but again only the ones in easy to reach, safe places. The bulk of Africa receives nothing except when hunters go there. Virtual Tours - Host online wildlife tours and experiences for a global audience. - I doubt that will work, there are too many free alternatives already available. It might seems that I'm negative about all of these plans, and I am because I've seen people try these before but Africa is just too big for this to work. And yes, WWF does mention that sustainable utilization, including hunting, can be to the benefit of wildlife as a whole. They have only 10 offices in all of Africa, which consist of 54 countries and multiple regions. Although India have many successful conservation programs, as does Africa, you also have many problems. I know the government is moving people out of certain areas and destroying habitat to do huge development, including mining. Luckily your government is trying to do some good also.
What? Look at the shot at 3:03 its clear That the Hunter is a idiot. Every hunter should know that you aim for the aninals heart, wich is a bit up at the front leg! Buffalo forms an important part of sustainable utilization. It's well managed and needed. Tigers, on the other hand, are not part of African conservation.

Everything is used, even the stomach lining is cooked to a stew. One of my favorite meals are buffalo tail stew. We don't waste much here in Africa.
How big is the hunting area?
It's 3,000 ha of hunting area. Thanks for watching!
You think hunting a beast with a high caliber rifle and a bait makes you a man, your wrong
No, we don't think that at all. Why do you assume that?
@@THEHuntingChannelbecause he's a tree hugging idiot, nothing more and nothing less. What are we supposed to do? Go fisicuffs?? 😂😂
Haha, I agree with you! He's as wrong as his spelling 😆
If you hunt for sport, just say it. Saying controlling population is stupid when humans are over populating.
Humans are over populating, true, but that does not mean we should let everything else go to waste. Left on their own there will be a lot of species added to the extinction list. Human action, protection and control prevents this. But it can also go the other way. Animals can also over populate their habitat if they are over bred and the straign on that habitat will cause the whole tribe to suffer. Just look at the conditions in over populated cities and countries, poverty and suffering. The animals are much better off in this conservation programs and it's caring humans that manage it. Not so stupid if you start thinking about it more.
Man, that was a great hunt! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Nice shot! Dropped that first one!😊
Those drop shots are the best!
Which Double rifle is use in this hunt?
I can't remember, it was a long time ago. At some stage I'll go throught the original footage and see if they mention it somewhere. Thanks for watching!
AM I SUPPOSED TO BE IMPRESSED THAT YOUR GUY HAS TO MAKE MULTIPLE SHOTS TO MAKE A PROPER KILL !!!!! ONE OF THE KILLERS SAID "NICE OLD BULL", BUT DOES NOT HESITATE TO KILL IT. WITHOUT THEIR HIGH POWERED WEAPONS THESE KILLERS ARE SIMPLY FRIGHTENED BOYS - THATS WHY THEY DO NOT GO AFTER TERRORISTS OR GO TO UKRAINE TO HELP THEM WITH THE RUSSIANS. YOU SEE , THEY ONLY GO AFTER ANIMALS BECAUSE THEY DO NOT SHOOT BACK
Dude, you are barking up the wrong tree here. Please move along.
Mahatma Gandhi acutely observed that "the greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated." To seek to reduce the suffering of those who are completely under one's domination, and unable to fight back, is truly a mark of a civilized society.
And to do everything in your power to protect them and their habitit is also a mark of a civilized society. Thanks for your support.
