I’m glad that you mentioned not to fight about it-I’ve met white converts who smeared me publicly over it & picked petty fights.
I was literally bullied by a several white converts in DFW over my insistence to call myself revert ( the most logical definition I saw as someone who left the fold of organized crime religion & came back.
The converts who call them themselves reverts were acting like I was some sort of fraud .
I notice a lot of spiritual narcissists ( adopt this term & insist only they can call themselves a “revert “ much like Zionists insist Semitic only applies to those who are Jewish ( not Palestinians who are literally Semitic.)
I’m glad you’re intelligent & open minded enough to see that two groups of Muslims can use that term.
