Dont forget the Irmma tax in your thinking, it can be material as you try to use of the lower brackets you push your income in the higher Irmma brackets.

To get a reply from Ari you have to just say great stuff apparently. No real questions allowed, even if new potential business.

Hi Ari, Thanks for making the video per my request! Your videos are always great and very informative. I do wonder however, why neither you nor James includes your fee in the expenses for case studies or client studies. .5-1% per year is a significant expense on a larger portfolio. In fact it can be higher than healthcare or the vacation fund. It could even be a clients most signifiant expense. I do understand there are significant benefits to the services you provide and a fee is certainly warranted, but why is it never included in the case studies? Thanks so much!

Hi Delphine, you’re so welcome! The case study (and my others) are shown net of fees, so you can see the value.
We don’t list it on here, but it’s an assumption we include when showing case studies!
It would be very difficult to know the true value if the fees weren’t included :)

Would love to see a variant of this with an age gap of 5-10 years between spouses. Love the Root videos.

What would be good to see are real case studies of portfolio value projection. I’d love to see 5 or 10 year milestones for clients with net worth “x” just to see the natural progression

Is the listed retirement monthly expense (spend) in this scenario pre-tax or after tax dollars?

You can use the tool to determine conversion effectiveness.

@@METVWETV I guarantee I understand it better than you, such that basic mental math can solve how much income you can expect with a $3M portfolio + social security. Maybe you have no understanding of your expenses, do tell what is challenging here?

I'm responding to your inane post.
You respond with Nonsense offering guarantees?
Then you "explain" that you can solve all of this with "basic mental math!"
I'm not the one who's challenged.
Go reread your initial post, including your stupid emoji then reflect on how unnecessary BOTH of your posts were.
      Thanks

@@METVWETV Sensitive are we, are you a financial planner? It's pretty simple; if you want to retire with $3.5M in investable assets, your 60, you have $10k in monthly expenses you can easily (and if desired but not recommended) generate about $18k per month plus social security for life. Bingo, in that scenario you can retire. Can I retire is relatively simple, the science and art come to how you want to manage the portfolio (basically how much risk you want to take). So my comment of can you retire with $3.5M at 55 or 60, of course you can if that is a priority. You know all the articles on can I retire with 3.5 million is a meme,?
